I am extremely impressed with this knife - In this household we only use this knife for the cutting of bread and NOTHING else - so it should last years before it needs the edge honing again –The non-stick coating on the knife – looks good and actually serves its purpose fantastically – cutting bread now is a joy! Even when fresh from the oven –My ONLY criticism is that I would have liked to have seen an extra 2-3 cm blade length to make it a truly universal bread knife with no direct competition.If you’re thinking about getting one of these – they’re worth the cost – I don’t think you’ll be disappointed..

This is a great knife for bread or even used for carving. This non-stick Bread Knife is sharp, lightweight and really nice to use. The knife is very stylish and can be sharpend back to new quality using a small diamond sharpening steel, but this may be tricky for people unsure of how to use a sharpening steel. It can take quite a while to blunt serrated knives, given you are using them correctly. I don't use the knife protector sleeve as I have a magnetic knife rack, but definitely would use it if the knife went in the drawer, as this would keep its sharpness. Treat the knife well by washing it by hand. dishwashers blunt and rust knives!

Best knife I’ve ever bought! Nice weight, extremely sharp - cuts through any sort of bread with no problem and no squashing. Easy to use. Comes with a guard so no accidents when getting out of drawer. Can’t recommend enough.

Delivered as expected, very sharp, makes cutting bread a doddle especially very thin brown bread slices used for smoked salmon sandwiches.Drawbacks - should have chosen a brighter colour to help find it in the knife drawer. I was impressed by the statement that it was a Japanese steel blade but I saw a 'made in China' stamp on the handle. Perhaps that's just the plastic handle and many pre-made blades from Japanese workshops are shipped to some nether Sino regions for plastic forming and joining.Anyway, I'd buy another of their range.

I had a bread knife for 30 years but the time had come when it needed to be replaced. This knife is even better than the last one, probably due to technology and scientific changes. It cuts through things like a "knife through hot butter" as they say. I don't just use it for bread, I use it for most other things too.

Its a nice looking knife..... But pointless as bread knife, far too short! Oh and Japanese steel, but made in China????
