Worse product ever. Very difficult to set up. Like why is that so difficult to set up???Buttons suck...when pressing them it doesnt do as asked.......very frustrating. Save your $55Security of pills...none. just had small latch to flip amd have access to all meds within the reel.

Great pill dispenser!
This is a great product! It is tough to get set up, but there's a QR code to scan to see tutorials. Once you watch that, it's not too bad.Once you get it set up, it works great! You can use your phone to make it work, and it will dispense your pills whenever you set it up.It is a very sturdy container that holds many pills per day. Overall, this is a very useful and well-made product!

Pill Dispenser
There are only 28 slots, so the labels won’t line up with days after 28 days. A key is provided for the battery but it’s easy to open the pill dispenser. It should be harder for a confused or obstinate senior to access all the pills than the battery compartment.

Failed in less than two months👎
Worked well for six weeks, then stopped advancing 👎 initial set up is also clumsy. I would not recommend this product

Just FANTASTIC product - The Pros HEAVILY outweigh the Problems.
The Windtrace Upgraded Automatic Pill Dispenser for Elderly with Alarm: Smart Pill Dispenser Machine with 28-Slot, Mix-Proof Tech & XL LCD, Enhanced Durability for Daily Medicine Management is a VERY handy item to have if you take a lot of pills every day on a schedule... but it has its problems.I have a handful of ailments, including epilepsy and diabetes, and therefore take a lot of pills every morning and night. There's a rock and roll song I'm fond of that makes reference to a "breakfast of pills." Every morning when I have a handful of pills in my hand I think about that line. I'm pretty certain the singer was talking about a different sort of pills, but the idea remains - every morning and every night I take a literal handful of pills, and it can get complicated keeping up with them.Enter the Windtrace Electronic Pill Dispenser. It's made sure I keep myself on schedule. I was WAY too lax with my schedule, and my health would suffer because of it. I'd forget to take a dose and end up having seizures. That's bad. That's REAL bad. That doesn't happen anymore, so I love the heck out of this machine for that alone. The Good -1. The alarm function keeps you on schedule. If your medicine keeps you from experiencing very bad things, like seizures, and if you're forgetful about taking your medicine, this is a VERY good function, and it works VERY well.2. The enclosed pill container keeps your medicines separated, clean, and dry.3. The mechanized rotation of the pill container ensures you're taking the correct dosage. Again, it works very well... if you can set it up properly. The Bad --1. It's VERY difficult to program. Just ridiculously difficult to program. You'll enter the times you're meant to take your medicines, forward to the next step, and the machine will not register that you've programmed the time you're meant to take your medicine, meaning you have to repeat steps over and over again. It's very frustrating, and I only take my meds twice a day. For those who take their meds three times a day or more, it'll be more difficult. I can't imagine the frustration of programming that.2. The bins to keep the medicine in are... small. If you take a lot of medicine you may not be able to fit all of your meds in these bins. I had to put my supplements and vitamins in another container. On the flipside, if the manufacturer had made the bins larger, the item would be gigantic, so they made it as large as they could have.Listen, the pros for this item so heavily outweigh the cons it's not a competition. This is not a perfect product by ANY means. Setting the thing up is an absolute struggle. But it's well worth it. I've missed ZERO doses since getting this item. The alarm can be annoying, but that's the point. I give this product my highest recommendation, but I can't give it five stars because it's so hard to program. I know, it's a contradiction. Apologies.I hope my review helped. Thanks for reading.

Love this Item!
This one-of-a-kind pill dispenser allows you to stay organized with your medications, avoid double doses, and have an easy reminder when it is medication time. The program can be set with anything from once-a-day dosing to 6x a day medication schedule. For once-a-day users, you will be able to store 28 days of medication in this device. When it is time to take medication, an alarm will go off and the disc will rotate to the appropriate day. This little device is genius. I see it as a potentially helpful tool for elderly who aren't on top of their meds or easily forget. Anyone can use this device, and it ensures punctual doses and safe dispensing. I'm a fan and will be ordering them for my elderly family members. 5/5 stars.

Lots of features, hard to set up, can be difficult to get pills out
The media could not be loaded. This is a well-made automatic pill dispenser and medication reminder with a huge number of options for people taking medications anywhere from one time per day to six times per day, with alarm reminders that can be set for times and days, and a pill tray that automatically advances to the designated medications. The dispenser is attractive and the clear lid makes it easy to see the medications. Many great features and ability to customize the medication times, but I found a few issues that prevent me from giving it 5 stars:1. The directions are clear and understandable, but the process of setting up the alarms and properly loading medications is a bit complex. I believe it would be very challenging for many people who need this device, so it likely will require a caregiver to set up and maintain doses.2. Depending on the size of the medication, it can be difficult to remove the pills. Each dose slot is rounded, but there is a small inside lip that can grab small pills and in one test trying to remove pills, it actually caused the pill to break into smaller pieces. Getting the pills out may require turning the dispenser upside down, but this may not be ideal as the dispenser is smooth and may not be easy to grasp by someone with dexterity issues.3. The dispenser comes with a special key (and two extras) to lock the battery compartment, but no special key to lock the pill compartment. This is puzzling. Are people stealing AA batteries in care facilities? As a caregiver, my greater concern would be having the patient medicate ahead and doubling up on a future day’s meds — so it would make much more sense to have that little key lock on the lid to the medications, not on the battery compartment. If you can get around these issues, the dispenser seems well constructed and properly set up could be an excellent way to help someone stay on track with a complex schedule of medications.
