My 4 year old has some sensory sensitivities and our haircuts usually involve me holding him in my lap while he screams and my husband cuts his hair as fast as he can. I bought these to see if they would work any better, and they did!! They are much quieter and the vacuum keeps the hair from falling on him, which is very upsetting to him. I had to empty it frequently, but this is literally the first haircut in his entire life that didn’t end in a meltdown. 10/10

Very quiet and gentle – my baby wasn’t scared at all. The blades are rounded and safe, no scratches on the scalp. Easy to hold, light in weight, and the battery lasts long enough for several cuts. The detachable head makes cleaning simple. Perfect for home use and saves trips to the barber. Highly recommend for new parents!

This is such a good buy, my little one year old is a mover and capturing him for any grooming is tough but I can use this and not be afraid I'm going to nick him or mess up his hair as he moves his head all over. It is also pretty quiet, he doesn't like loud noises and this doesn't scare him. Also love the cordless aspect so nice to be able to cut his hair wherever. And super easy to use and clean so I can do quick trims whenever I need and can quickly empty and clean it and put it back under the sink.

Youre better off paying a little more and getting a different brand. I've had these 6 months and I've used these maybe 5 times TOTAL and they now rip out my autistic sons hair and don't even cut it! Started not working good after the first time using them. So disappointed and just out 25 dollars. They aren't even quiet enough to really help him in the first place.

Really lovely design of this hair clipper, very appealing to my kids. It's definitely funny to see my boy got so excited and wanted to have my wife use this on him when he first saw this clipper. I really like the size of this clipper, pretty much the same as other adult clippers, and with 3 different lengths of guards, it's definitely enough for my wife to cut my little boy's hair with all her needs. However, we're hoping to see this kids hair clipper would have much quieter and lower vibration while operating since the sound and the vibration are what make my little one so scared of having his hair cut. Compare with adult hair clippers, this one does sound a little bit quieter, but definitely not by much, so my little boy still scared about having his hair cut even with this clipper. However, this is the first hair clipper we have which comes with vacuum feature. I have to say, this feature is definitely a game changer!!! It doesn't catch everything, so don't expect that, but in our experience, it caught about 70%+ hairs without any issue at all. And since we used it on our little one who's just about to turn 2, it holds quite some hairs in it before needing to dump it out. Hair clipper with vacuum definitely saves a lot of effort for parents to clean up the mess!!!

My son has autism and doesn’t like hair cuts. I love that you can use this wet as well. The vacuum setting works so good at catching the hair so it doesn’t make a big mess. Low noise and is so easy to use.
