I easily put it together by myself in an oval on my table today after Thanksgiving meal when guests left. I will buy more as gifts because is well made. Needed 6 double A’s which we happened to have on hand. I plan to gift to my extended family just for the sheer novelty and entertainment value. It’s unique and whimsical. One of the best options was the ability to mute the sounds to just a train chugging along without horns. This feature was only offered in much more expensive sets which is why I chose this one and now back to buy more as gifts. Thank you.

I returned it for the polar express . I wish I would’ve kept it because all four wheels turn and the polar train only the two front one do and falls off track all the time.

This is a good value for how much it costs, only problem we have is it constantly goes off track. None of the tracks are bent and it is a level surface. Still great for my 5 year old.

My grandsons love this train. We have 4 “true” electric trains, G scale, O scale, HO scale and N scale. They aren’t old enough to set them up properly and play with them yet. However this battery train is very east to set up and get the cars on the track. The train will even run on the hardwood floors. They play with it for hours.

The sound of this train is like being on a real train.... my grand children love this train!The price is good and it is sturdy..Very good quality!

The train is ok...not great, not good, just ok.. If any of the cars were to be dropped, no question that they would break immediately. The tracks are another story. Pure trash! They will not to stay together and if you do happen to get them all connected, once the train starts moving, they become disconnected. I considered gluing them together but then you have the problem of storage. Not many people have the space to store a 4 x 3 foot train track unless you want it out all the time. If the track barely gets hit by a child's arm, the tracks disconnect. Be smart and DO NOT PURCHASE this train set. Even my 3 yr old grandson wanted me to send it back.

Great intro to train hobby for my 2 year old. I’d like to see more tracks in different shapes to be able to make more than just circles , but a good place to start if your kid likes trains

The media could not be loaded. It has good quality and fair sized tracks. Train has remote and runs both ways. It also has steam and have option to turn on and off for steam and the sound. Only part I did not give 5 star is due to the wheels not being the same size for the other parts of the train. It can go off the tracks easily. Also the cover that keeps the tracks together needs to be improved so that jt does not come off easily. At least this is lot more better quality than the previous one I returned.
