Will this fit on a 2009 17.5 i/c riding lawn mower briggs and Stratton engine

yes, it will. Some b&s ohv engine use walbro lmt carbs and some use nikki carbs. This carb will replace either one. when replacing a carb always replace the fuel line and filter and clean the tank and use fresh fuel with an ethanol tratment to prevent problems.
