I recently purchased the 2024 Upgrade Underwater Fishing Camera, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Fantastic camera with excellent resolution! This camera has HD1080p resolution, most other brands are still using 1000TVL. The record feature is super easy to use, press one button to start recording and the same button to stop. I used it ice fishing and despite the low light and cloudy water , I was very happy with the videos it took. I was able to record and download one the first time I used it. You can see the edited video below. The battery lasted all day and still had 75% power left. Great camera at a great price!

I purchased this camera for a Christmas present for my 16 year old son. He loves this camera and enjoyed seeing what baits were working as he watched his target fish responded to various baits and lures. Excellent camera with great picture quality. What is also great about this company is their willingness to be flexible and understanding in the event of damages or issues with the product. On my sons last outing, the camera cracked while underwater and he swears he was not being abusive . I reached out to the Fish Pro team for any warranty assistance and even though the camera appeared to them that it might have hit a rock or something on the sea floor, they decided to send out a replacement at no charge! Who so willingly does this anymore? Very few that's for sure. Anyway, huge thank you to this company for going above and beyond in customer service and compassion for a young angler. So, so grateful. We know going forward what company we are going to use for future purchases of underwater camera equipment.

Great fishing companion. Great quality, easy to use. Makes fishing much more fun and enjoyable when you can see what’s in the water and watch it bite your bait. Highly recommend. Durable and reliable with great battery life.

Great camera, we can see very well (in the daytime). At night, it is pretty difficult to see anything. When the light is on at night time there is a lot of backscatter. Another frustration point (which did not impact the ability to see fish), was that a small screw fell out of the display as soon as we opened the device. At first, the display was stuck, we could not open it easily, then the small screw fell out. I can open the display now, but again, kind of frustrating for how much you spend to have a little screw be a pain point. All else considered, the camera is awesome. We used it ice fishing, could see the fish easily, and turning it on/getting it connected was easy.

This thing is COOL! Got video of the catfish swallowing the worm. Quality is great! Images are great - loved it!

the unit works great. I use it more for other remote viewing, ( tree hollows, wall space inspection, rock crevices), than fishing. Any underwater camera requires clear water and in Texas that seldom occurs. Maybe in the winter months... I definitely recommend.

Updated 17 January 26: Battery life is great. I used it in my cold shack and it went over 8 hours with battery to spare. Side-by-side next to my MarCum Recon5+ and the FishPRO has a slightly better screen. The buttons are much easier to push compared to the MarCum. I still wish it had a compass… it does take longer to find tiny jigs/bait under the hole if it isn’t perfectly clear water down there. Overall, it’s a good value, at least. Good value. The screen is clear and the camera picks up light pretty well. It’s a better camera (or appears to be) compared to my Marcum Recon 5+. If you need an easy to use camera, this one works. Being able to choose between 2, 5, and 10 minute clip length greatly improves my quality of life in terms of editing video footage after a session. Cons: there is no compass reading on the screen, so finding your jig down under the ice is a bit tougher. The light indicator on the display is out of sequence. The indicator says the light is off when it’s on, using IR when it is actually visible light, and visible when using IR. (Or something like that) It doesn’t stop the use of the camera overall, just noting that the programming is off on my unit. I’ve done two resets and that does not solve the problem.

Purchased this product back in February 2026 for ice fishing use, quality is very good, battery life impressive, easy to use with great clear underwater images. Camera menu is straight forward and simple. Used it recently for summer fishing action and once again proved to be a valuable asset for underwater imaging of the area and fish. Reasonably priced, comes with a carry case and charging accessories. Great Product.

The camera is simple to set up and has a fairly good image. The storage case it comes with is especially well done and thought out to protect all the components. I have purchased this camera for ice fishing and it has performed well in 20 feet of water. I would advise however to purchase the motorized tripod for ice fishing. I would recommend this camera as it is worth the price,

Really happy with this underwater fishing camera. The 1080p picture is clear, the 7” screen is a great size, and the battery lasts all day. Setup was easy and it feels durable. The LED lights help in darker water without scaring fish. Great value for the price- definitely recommend!

Works as should,takes a bit of setup time to lock n to your hook. Hard to see screen when in sun conditions. Best inside ice tent. Good product for price. I have too rig up a stand so it’s easier to see the 7” screen

Camera is very easy to use. The picture quality is excellent with sharp details and colors. As I use this style of camera for ice fishing, the compact size, threaded camera mount and nice carrying case are also appreciated. Only regret is I should have bought the model with the built in dvr. I have owned underwater cameras that cost 3 to 4x as much (Marcum, Aqua-Vu) and this camera easily matches their picture quality in a compact size while offering the same screen size. Like to add, their customer service is excellent. I had a mishap first time I used mine (accidentally dropped camera weights down the ice hole Doh!), company graciously mailed out 2 free replacement packages of weights. Update: Have had it running while ice fishing for 10 hours and camera was still going strong. Impressed with battery. Have used it 11 times this winter and not 1 issue. Great value for the money.
