Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My 45 lb aussie collie has dewclaws, and his front paws measure about 3" long including his nails x 2" wide, which the sizing chart simply does not accommodate. We ended up going with size 5 and they fit well. We probably could have gone a size up on the front shoes, but I prefer a tighter fit so the shoes don't spin and he doesn't trip over them. The material is somewhat stretchy so I don't think them fitting snugly is uncomfortable for him. We had Ruffwear shoes for a while but they fastened directly at his dewclaw and caused discomfort, and eventually chafing, between his dewclaw and leg. Since he is a service dog he needs to wear shoes frequently and for long periods of time. With these shoes, the lower strap is at the top of his dewclaw "knuckle" and the top strap is well above it so I'm not worried about chafing. I'll update this review should chafing happen with heavy use. The video is his first time wearing them and I'm making sure he's comfortable moving normally in them, which he seems to be!

My dog is old, and has trouble moving her back legs properly. She drags her feet, so her nails were worn down, almost to the point of bleeding. Vet recommended we get boots or something - we did, she hated them. I saw these, thought they might be good, because they are small, and have grips at the bottom. She slips a lot, because she is not putting weight on the back legs.Put them on her and she has not wanted to take them off since! She walks better, faster, more sure-footed. Tried to adjust them this morning and she got up and walked away, wouldn't let me take them off. This from a dog who hates to wear anything at all, can even get out of her collar. she realizes her feet work better now. VERY HAPPY.Also, i like the customer service - i was unsure what size, and would have gotten a 7. They recommended 6. I figured, i would try that first, then return if i had to, but i would try the 6. They are fine. They need to be snug to stay on, and they DO stay on -- she has been sleeping in them (she walks around at night) and we went to a pool area and she practically ran (with them on)!!

Finally boots for my big dog that really work well. he is a 12 year old Irish Setter, 65 Lbs and slips on our wood floors, particularly in his older years. We tried several others. All hard to put on and they slip around the side.These are amazing. Super easy on, No toe squeeze, just slip them on instantly. The two straps with Velcro tighten up nicely. Then the sole of his boot is wonderful, molded, flat, stays put all day long. Not to mention, they look really great, his own Nike. We are in Hawaii and his foot is not hot after an all day wearing. In door and out on the farm, no matter. Really, these boots are the best for us. Highly recommend.

These are her life savers.... Here in AZ it can get up to 114 degrees... HOT SUMMERS! We always take her on errands when we can take her in the stores... she tolerates them fine. Just have to have patience when one gets a lil twisted.

These boots are perfect and just what we needed for our 30 lbs mini schnauzer, Diego, who loves to be outdoors even in the middle our desert summers with temps that get to 120.Don’t waste your money on cheaper boots. We tried out several brands which clearly did not even attempt to design a shoe/boot to fit the angles of a dogs paws.These boots are worth the extra money and effort learning to put them on. After a week, we are pros at getting them on quickly and Diego is cooperative.Diego adjusted to wearing them as soon as we opened the door to let him outside. He quickly forgot he was wearing them when he was allowed to explore unconfined.We used instructions that helped us determine the correct size is 3 for Diego.

These shoes are well constructed (good quality control) and they look good too. I bought them to protect my American Staffordshire terrier's paws from the hot gravel/pavement here in So. Nevada. I put them on her to cross the hot gravel driveway in the late afternoon on our way to the dirt area where she relieves herself. She got used to walking in them pretty quickly which was a relief to me. Good product Xanday - Thanks!

I have a 6lb shiranian. Tiny dog with tiny feet. After measuring according to the instructions, I ordered the size 1 even though they are still too big for her in a slight degree. I figured at the time I ordered them she would grow into them. But I'm pretty sure at 8mo she's done with growing. I think the only thing that really helps keep them on is the large amount of shih tzu fluff around her legs. I have yet to see how well they stay on without the fur...I like the design though. I think it is very well thought out concerning the comfort of the dog as well as function. The materials seem to be sturdy and the soles seem that they would hold up to long term use.--update--It's been over 18-months since I bought these and my shiranian is 2 years old and has grown from 6lb to averaging 9lb and these still don't fit her properly. In fact, I think they actually cause her pain!I keep her fur trimmed short to keep matting down. Without all the extra fur, these are too big around her legs with even the smallest size that was offered - a 1 (one) - and the hard sole, which I loved about these, is too wide still on her paw.It's so hard to find small shoes for small breeds...

I absolutely LOVE these dog shoes. Having a service dog and being a service dog trainer, my dogs go places they NEVER would naturally go. So feet protection is priority. Although there is a name brand many people rave about I found these Amazon shoes and ordered them last minute for a Disney trip because they would get here with my prime 2 day shipping. They have 2 straps vs 1 like the regular dog shoes, but a lighter elastic that is easier on my fibromyalgia hands. Yet we have no issues with shoes getting kicked or flipped off, as they are fitted correctly. The only down side(if you call it one) is the fact the shoes are mesh so they have airflow to help prevent overheating for the dog, but if they get wet, they are wet shoes. Inevitable, but with this good price just pack a second pair!

Perfect. The two straps ensure a tight fit that won't fall off. The rubber sole is sufficent protection from heat and rough surfaces. And they look really cute too. Great product.
