Was the Highlight of my Vacation
I mainly bought the scooter for vacation. I love to hike & take walks to soak in lots of nature, but I had a terrible accident last year and lost some use in my arm & walk with a cane. I wasn't ready for a motorized wheelchair & this scooter has been a God send for my mobility. We went to the Great Smoky Mountains & we found quite a few trails that were paved & I felt like I had this freedom of movement while scooting around. The scooter was very well packaged & my husband helped me put it together with little trouble. I bought the bright color so I could be visible to others & used the headlight around sunset. Everything is practically perfect about this scooter. It holds a charge for a long time, but I don't think I've rode it more than 5-6 miles at any one time. It's lightweight, but sturdy. I now ride it around my neighborhood, local parks & along the waterfront. I attached a clam shell type case to the handle bars for my phone/keys, a water bottle holder & a cable lock. If I had to say something negative about the scooter, I'd say the seat is not that comfortable for longer rides & it doesn't have the power to make it up hills. When I see a hill coming up, I try to go faster to get more momentum to get to the top. It goes up the hill very slow & sometimes to the point where you are using your feet to get the rest of the way there. But the scooter still deserves a 5 in my opinion. Also, I shopped both Beston & Phantomgogo. I think the scooters are the same from both places. I have the logo from phantom but purchased it from Beston. The photo on the Beston site shows a more yellow scooter. I like the color better than the photo which is more of a neon lime yellow.

Make sure you know when the customer service and returns are with Amazon.
We bought 2 of these scooters, one worked fine the others battery wouldn't charge up. Too late for a return or customer service. After many frustrating attempts to contact the company, we were lucky enough to live within driving distance to their shop. They were more than willing to rectify the problem because the battery was still under warranty.

I feel super speedy!
I've used it a few times so far since my purchase about 3 wks ago. Cons: The seat is super hard and uncomfortable, the basket is smaller than the impression given by photo, the brakes sound like they're grinding when I use them, and the tires make me nervous as I feel every single rock, road crack, etc. I happen to ride over. Pros: My it's my age, lol, but 15 mph on two wheels feels super speedy, lol. I was super nervous the first time trying it out, but I knew with practice, I'd get the hang of it. I still forget to let go of the throttle and actually use the brakes, but at least I'm not all wobbly on it now. It was super easy to put together and there's space enough for a phone holder, cup holder (either/or, lol), and mirrors. The throttle is easy enough to use, but can cause fatigue on the hands if you have issues with your hands. We bought throttle handles for it, but they don't fit on it. Do your research thoroughly if you're going to buy those for yours.Overall, I'm happy with the bike, I haven't had any issues with it so far except for the nervousness the tires cause, but I've also only gone very short distances with it (like right up the street and back to the store/dr's). It's also quite heavy for someone my age (59), I wouldn't recommend this type of ebike if you live on a second floor with only stairs to get up and down, otherwise, I'd say go for it. Luckily, I have a husband and two teenaged boys to bring it up and down for me, lol. Oh, and one more thing...It's difficult to find a cover for it. We searched and searched and most "bike" covers are for regular 10-speed-size or motorcycle-size and are too big for it. If anyone knows of a cover that will fit and not break the bank ($25 or less) message me somehow and let me know! LOL

Scooter just stopped working
We bought this scooter in January and all was wonderful. We didn't really use the scooter until March when we went on a trip. Then after about a week, it totally died, even when fully charged. We tried to call products customer service, and after 4 days we are waiting for the callback. In the mean time I found a number for Amazon customer service regarding the product. After explaining everything going on and asking about how to get it fixed, we were told that it was out of refund time period and they were going to give us product customer service number. I advised this was totally useless and Amazon said they would issue a refund for product. Amazon didn't tell us we were to ship it back and had to box it back up. We don't keep very large boxes just sitting around the house for 2 months, so we didn't have a box to put it in. I called Amazon and they said "too bad, we would have to buy a box". First, they don't advise they require the scooter to be returned and secondly I have to find a very large box immediately, because UPS is on the way to pick it up. We pieced together some boxes, used tons of duck tape and got the scooter ready for pickup. UPS picked up and we're waiting for refund. Not really pleased with Amazon customer service, not very pleased with product customer service and for an item guaranteed for a year, it seemed to be something they don't like to handle. All in all, save yourself some time, expense and frustration, don't buy this scooter!!!!!!
