Good quality unit which has helped our son further his music education on a budget

I've purchased two of these keyboards recently; one for home use, and one for use in my classroom. This keyboard is an excellent price for an 88 key semi-weighted keyboard, but both keyboards have arrived with issues. The white one, which I ordered for home use, has a dead LED in the first number of the three number panel. As I do not plan to use any of the alternate sounds, I do not personally find this to be an issue worth submitting an exchange for, especially as I risk getting a keyboard with a worse defect, like the black keyboard that I ordered for my classroom. The black keyboard arrived with a faulty F key in the fourth octave, and is thus not usable for any of the many, many songs which require that note.

One key will not work and we’ve only had it a couple months. It’s impossible to get a hold of customer service at Amazon or Donner to resolve the issue.

The keyboard is okay. Quality is lacking, and the speakers don't put out a lot of sound. But when you are shopping in this price range, I guess this is what you get. Don't be fooled by the Donner name as this is straight from China. Mine even had a label on the side with the Chinese address it came from. My big issue is he lack of customer service. On the Amazon order page, if you have certain issues you can contact the seller directly through their website. But they don't answer you. If you go through the Amazon process to get support for missing parts they tell you they can't send parts so I would have to return/exchange the item. I tried contacting the seller through a previous chat since this keyboard was bought to replace a prior order that I sent back, but they claimed they weren't the seller. Donner Music was the seller in both orders, yet they couldn't help. Horrible service for an okay beginner keyboard. Just know what to expect if you purchase this. No support. Just return if you have an issue. How stupid.

Velocity sensitive, great feeling keys, well made, and sounds good. It doesn't sound half bad, but doesn't realistic either. I've played piano on and off for about 30 years using a variety of keyboards and nothing sounds like a real Grand Piano except for a real Grand Piano, not even a Nord, or a Roland Integra 7. However, this sounds great and is perfect for a learning student, someone who wants to get back into playing, or someone like me who noodles around and loves playing music on pretty much anything. Built in battery and myriad of sound options, 127 different types of different keyboard sound sets, that sound surprisingly good. The 127 different sound sets are not the original generic General MIDI sounds that were built into countless soundcards and sound banks from the 80s through the 90s, but are a nice set of General MIDI sounds that sound better thanks to current technology. Can you make a platinum hit from this? One doesn't have to look too far, look at Avicii, he did it with a 100 dollar midi device and FL studio. Wish it had a 1/4 out rather then a headphone out jack, but it is not a serious deal breaker. Converter cables are always cheap and great to have on hand if you plan on gigging with this, especially because it has a built in battery. No Piano book to get you started, but you can easily print a few sheets off from the internet these days. Music sheet stand is included. So is a carrying case, and sustain pedal. The keys feel good when pressed and depressed. Nothing feels cheap, and the folding stand in this case was included in the 199.99 price range for the white keyboard. Keyboard is a full set of keys and can be split to have two different sounding keyboards. 127 backing tracks are also built in allowing you to play along with any of them. Surprisingly great sounding backing tracks that are totally usable and easy to learn with. A looper function, yes really a looper function is built in and you can load a drum kit and loop it, or even play a certain piano melody and loop it. If your serious, to add variety I would add an effects processor on the audio out, or use a guitar pedal to add some variance, because there is no pitch dial. No power supply is included, but it easily charges up via the USB-C port. Built in battery lasts a very long time on normal settings. Note, that I did not test it for the whole 10 hours. Manual is straightforward, but there is a language barrier, but it doesn't stop you from understanding what it means. Did not test the midi over USB-C, or any of the Bluetooth wireless options. Does have velocity options to change the amount of velocity. Cons but really negligible: - No 1/4 jack out - No Midi Din pin Out / In - Menu features and menu actions printed directly onto keyboard housing - Pitch bend wheel (this would have been killer) - Should have included at least one sheet song for new learners. Everything feels nice and solid, nothing feels cheap and flimsy. It takes time to learn all the settings, features and options. Straight out of the box, the battery is half charged and the Grand Piano loads up instantly and you can start playing. Makes an excellent gift for that grandchild, birthday, or special anyone.

I've had a few pianos and keyboards over the years, but I've never had one that would recharge like this! I was actually a little confused at first because I thought that it needed to be plugged in all the time but it doesn't. if you're using this to play in public, what a great feature, I could see a singer songwriter using this piano on a street corner or a shop and not needing to worry about plugging in. it even comes with a gig bag very friendly for singer songwriters who are performing gigs. The keys are plastic and are not waited, but for our nine-year-old son who is just learning to play piano this is perfect. the sounds are realistic, and there are a lot of different sounds to choose from. We haven't played with the blue features yet but that's nice to have. It's also wonderful that you can plug headphones into it for silent practice. It comes with a stand and a sustain pedal so it truly comes with everything you need. Even stickers to place if you're starting to learn. Highly recommended, great value - go grab one!

Son très médiocre, même dans un casque HD ... certains jouets ont un Son de bien meilleur qualité... ne mérite pas son prix rajouter un peut et acheter un instrument de plus haute qualité. Vous en serez forcément déçu...
