Very nice and accurate speed sensor. Works great with Ride With GPS/Wahoo.
I have been using a Cateye wired speed sensor computer and decided to upgrade with the phone cycling app and this speed sensor. I have used phone cycling apps in the past but I always thought the GPS alone tracking to be highly inaccurate (slower and longer riding times) compared to the Cateye wired speed sensor computer so I didn't use it that much. When I use the Dream Sport cycling speed sensor and the phone cycling app, I believe it is far more accurate with the speed and distance than a GPS alone app. It is a huge improvement. I still have my Cateye wired speed sensor computer that has the magnet which calculates with tire rotations and I compared. There is like a 0-1% difference in my distances so it is pretty much identical. Speed is pretty much identical as well but there is like a 1 second delay and that has to do with direct faster wired connection vs bluetooth connection. Not a big deal at all because the reading will still be correct but just with a tad 1 second delay. I used a variety of cycling apps but I prefer Ride With GPS and Wahoo apps. They work great, have a nice clean user interface and track accurately. I also like Samsung Health app with the cycling because I have a Samung phone. Other consideration is that the bluetooth connection with the speed sensor doesn't interfere or get interfered with my Altec Lansing baby boom bluetooth speaker that I also use at the same time while I ride. I can't think of a con because this speed sensor is accurate and does its job that it states. It always stays connected when I ride with my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G phone. The bad news is that I have 4 bikes with all different tire sizes so I almost feel like I need to buy a Dream Sport speed sensor for each bike now. GPS alone tracking app is too inaccurate for me. I still have my cateye cycling computers on all my bikes as well but I really like to get all the many features especially the maps from the cycling phone apps. I highly recommend this Dream Sport cycling speed sensor.

Not accurate
Sensor has a lot of delay to pick up speed and also not accurate, sometimes it says in going 18mph when I'm actually going over 20mph.

It works as described
Bought this for my husband as he is an avid cyclist. He is happy with the mileage sensor although he feels it's not as precise as the previous ones he owned. It's a decent item for the price.

Great for what I needed
This little sensor was easy to install. The back is accessible to replace the battery when needed (my wahoo sensor the back would break every time I needed to change the battery).I use this on my spin bike in my house to track cadence on my Peloton App. So far I have not had any problems. I am not sure if the distance is 100% but it gives me a reading to work on with the instructors during the class. Using this and a heart rate monitor saves me a ton over the true Peloton.Very happy customer

Useless and would have returned if I didn't miss the window
Had me going 21 mph while barely peddling. Installation instructions are useless.

It is not as accurate as expected
The media could not be loaded. First and most importantly, this speed sensor offers only speed data, not cadence. Also, while it is advertised to be compatible with many apps, including Polar, I was unable to pair it to my Polar app. When it comes to speed accuracy, I decided to give it a try with an under desk bike using two apps which allowed me to use the sensor for free. Cateye Cycling and Wahoo. Cateye Cycling requires a tire size which is an issue if you’re using a static bicycle, since they don’t have tire sizes. Wahoo doesn’t require a tire size, but if you want accuracy, you’ll need to provide one, which again, static and spinning bicycles don’t have tire sizes. So, what is this sensor good for? I’ll say it is good for actual bicycles that are either used outdoors or indoors on a bike trainer. If you use it with a static or spinning bike that has no wheel sizes, your speed readings will be completely off. Now, when it comes to installation and setup, it is pretty simple and easy to use. It requires no technical knowledge and the instructions are pretty simple and easy to understand.
