- David's Cookies Fresh-Baked Gourmet Assorted Cookie Gift Basket, 12 x 1.5oz

I bought these for my adopted dad, who is 92 and housebound. I wanted to send him something he would really enjoy, and these cookies were a hit. He loves them so much that he is limiting himself to one a day just to make them last as long as possible. I can't think of a much better recommendation than that. They made my dad very happy, which made me happy too.

I got these as a very special treat. And they were both very special and very much a treat. These were some great cookies. The chocolate chip were my favorite. If I ever buy these again, I may try to just get a box of those alone. These were every bit as good as homemade and almost as fresh.

I’m not a chocolate chip cookie expert but I eat a lot of them and make a lot of them. These would not make my top 50 although they are “good enough” if you are in a tight spot. They are so crumbly and fragile! One bite and the whole cookie falls to the floor. Or my lap. Or the counter. That is if I got a whole cookie out to begin with. They look great when you open the tin and the tin is really nice. But the flavor is average at best and with the crumbling (almost like they are stale) I’ll not order from David’s again.

The cookies are very good. They were not in very good condition a few of the cookies were broken and in several pieces.

These cookies are DELICIOUS! They are soft baked and so don't break apart and crumble like other cookies. Because they are freshly baked and don't have the preservatives you find in store bought cookies, you have to eat it within 2 or 3 days of receiving it or freeze them. I froze them. They thaw easily without losing their "homemade" taste. They are expensive, but well worth it and they make a good gift. I'm going to buy these again, for sure.

Excellent variety of cookies! Better than grandma makes! My order was replaced immediately when notified that the cookies were broken! David's is the best!

I order these about once a month for potlucks, and they're always a hit. I enjoy them, too, especially the peanut butter ones. However, the last couple of times I've ordered, the quality had gone down. Notably, the time before last, all of the peanut butter cookies (and only them) were utterly pulverized, and in this latest tin, an entire compartment was just empty, meaning I was short three cookies.
