WindRider UPF 50+ Neck Gaiter, Face Mask - Sun Protection for Fishing

I do a decent amount of kayak fishing and like to wear buffs for sun protection and to keep cool on the water. I have a handful of others from different companies and immediately loved these as soon as I took them out of the bag. They feel like bathing suit material. Like a bikini or 4 way stretch board shorts. Extremely light weight, very flexible and great color. I didn't burn so safe to say they work.

I have been looking high and low for the right mask/right gaiter that does the job in this time of COVID. I wanted to find something that is comfortable and stays up. The product also needed to be something that my husband and 18-yr old son would also wear. We have had the gaiters for for a weeks now, and this product works perfectly. Some masks had made me claustrophobic. Some other gaiters were made of materials so light they wouldn't stay. THIS GAITER DOES THE TRICK. It is light weight, comfortable to wear, and stays up. I ended up liking it even more than anticipated because we went hiking the other day and I loved the versatility of the gaiter ... sun protection and got my hair off my neck. I can highly recommend.

This is a high quality, good looking neck gaiter. Since it's designed mainly for UV protection it won't get a full workout until later in 2020 but I can report it is very comfortable for layering in a downhill skiing setup and will clearly add protection against neck burn when I take it out on the water this summer. The blue "camo" pattern looks cool and I suspect it will make me a better sailor! UPDATE: when doubled, this makes excellent personal protective gear to cover nose/mouth on expeditions outside the home. Easily washed/sanitized. A good solution when purpose-specific masks are unavailable or in short supply.

Got this for my son as we are frequently out on the trails. We pass people infrequently, but when we do, it’s nice that he can use it as a temporary face mask. The colors are vivid, it’s cool enough for extreme Texas heat (106 today!) and is well made.

I bought these product for use while I walk on trails/parks near my home. I was drawn to this product due to it being UV protection which is a big deal in Colorado as it is easy to get a sun burn here while outside. I like the fact that is covers my neck so I don't need to wear a hat. I use it as a mask as it easily covers my nose and mouth as I pass other runners/ walkers on the trail. I gave comfort 4 stars as it is a little hard to breathe as the material is 80% polyester and 20% spandex. For me it works perfect as I don't wear it during my entire workout I am using it as a protective covering between me and other people.
