The original one I ordered malfunctioned a few weeks after receiving it. The unlock and lock jammed on me. Customer service was on it, and sent me a replacement. So far, the replacement is working fine and no jamming. I love the green as well.

I bought it in September and used it approximately 9 times since then. I twisted the gold part (lock/unlock function) to remove the drill bit and the gold part will not lock. I tried turning it and it will not turn to the lock position. Unfortunately this renders the file unusable. This product was not worth the money.

I don’t know how I ever did dip manicures without this little thing. It is fantastic!! Super effective and super easy to use! Also super easy to change bits out-doesn’t seem like they’ll break in there and feels high quality when using even on lower speed. I will always use this when doing my nails!!

I just emailed the company and hoping for a response and will update with the response. My daughter is a big fan of her YouTube channel and I've bought her many of the products through the years. Sadly, this product has not held up as she has used this drill probably 5 times and it has quit working. I'm hoping it is just a dud and not a common problem with the drill.

Very durable, the battery lasts forever especially if you're only doing nails on yourself. I love how easy it is to change the bit and it's not even that loud like my dust collector is louder than this efile.

It broke after 5 uses. It is impossible to lock it. It is stocked. I bought this brand because it is supposed to be professional and last longer. But the quality is terrible! I am returning it. I so not recommend this product. Worst thing is that I bought all the bits for the same brand and it still broke.

Powerful and quiet

I do my own nails at home and tried a cheaper Melody Susie efile first and bailed on it and went for this one. The entry level one jumped around a lot and just didn’t have enough power so felt unsafe to use. This one is amazing! The speed is very precise and powerful so you can have full control for a safer use. I remove gel colour and hard builder gel with a carbite bit I purchased separately at 30RPM and then when I get close to my nail bed switch to the included sandpaper at 20RPM and do cuticle work with the included cuticle bits at 12RPM. I was fighting for my life with the entry level cheap drill and this is a world of difference and precision! No jumping or wobbling on the nailed. Couldn’t be happier. My healthy and safe nail beds love this drill!

Product is defective and it came in an opened, damaged box and someone had removed and replaced the plastic film covering the LCD screen. The hole where you plug the hand piece into the power supply is off-centre, so the prongs don’t fit and the product can’t be used. Edit: I returned the defective efile and ordered a replacement. The replacement was also defective—the chuck is stuck between lock and unlock so the bit can’t be changed and the handpiece won’t turn on. Don’t buy this efile, it’s not worth the hassle.

I bought this about a two months ago. I always stored it with the thing in the drill the way it came. As someone who just does my nails at home you can imagine I didn't get alot of use out of it. Not the lock/unlock switch is frozen somewhere in the middle. If I can wrench it far enough to get a bit in and try locking it it slides out of the locked position. Reached out to the company they are slow to respond and I have no way of uploading the video of the broken drill in our chat. So I figure I'll do it this way.

Do not fear the e-file! They’re not as scary or hard to use as some may make you believe. They actually make it easier and quicker to prepare your nails for polishes, gels, powders or acrylics. I decided to get this Melodie Susie electric nail file because I have one similar from another brand and it works amazing! It doesn’t hurt to have two since I am also a crafter. Due to the fact that I don’t do my nails every day or even every week, I have only been able to test this device twice within the month. Though both jobs were a process and the battery life is still standing strong. So far I am quite pleased with how it prepped my nails and helped removed my UV gel polish. ✅WHAT I LIKE: ▪️Easy to use. If you’re new and worry about how to use your non dominant hand with an e-file, the trick is holding the drill still in your hand and let your dominant hand do the work.😉 ▪️Portable. I really like that I’m not tied to an outlet. The portability is the way to go and incredibly convenient. ▪️Battery indicator tells you how much battery life is left so you’re not guessing when to charge it. ▪️Gentle on nails and skin. The higher the level you use the more you risk burning your skin or nail. It’s best to start on level two. You won’t really need anything higher than levels 6 to 8 unless you’re doing a major task and trying to remove acrylics. Even then level 35 is the highest level and it is pretty powerful, so you’ll want to be mindful. ▪️It feels of good quality. The drill has a nice weight and feels quite comfortable to hold. ▪️The green colour is pretty. It has pretty sparkles in it similar to vehicle paint. ▪️There is a nice variety of drill bits for different tasks. I like that the manual tells me what each bit is for because I can never remember most of them. ▪️Long battery life. Similar to my other drill, the battery life has barely budged and it took quite some time to fully remove my gel polish. ▪️The battery pack can be used to charge your phone or other emergency items like a flashlight. ❌WHAT I DON’T LIKE: ▪️I’m not a fan of the clear plastic attachment that holds the drill. It feels cheap and doesn’t match the rest of the aesthetics of the entire unit. I feel for the price of this particular e-file more effort would have been put into all aspects of the design. This feels like an after thought. ▪️The plug that connects to the drill and the battery looks like it is proprietary. If you lose it, you may be SOL. 🦋OVERALL: As mentioned earlier it is hard to test this e-file given the nature of how often I would typically need to do my nails. Having used it only twice within 30 days, it is not enough to truly gage its longevity or quality. However, so far it is impressive and I really like it. If you don’t see an update from me, that means it is still working great. As I always do, if it starts acting funny, I will be back to update this review. At this moment, I would recommend it and hope it works well for other buyers.🤞
