I've been looking for something like this for some time because I wanted a wireless method to go from my DVR to the office. This was simple to install and worked without complicated synch instructions. i.e. Plug and Play. I'll admit that it is a bit pricey, but it works flawlessly. The one thing to note is that it does not come with any HDMI cables, so you will need to have two of those for installation - one from the source to the transmitter and one from the receiver to the destination TV.

Conclusions first....This is a really good 4K wireless HDMI transmitter, primarily targeted at camera users who want to use this with a monitor, though, you can use it for all sorts of purposes... The range claims are pretty accurate, the lag is minimal, and is easily powered by NP-F batteries (sold separately). There are a few minor design gripes, but nothing major. At a price point of $150-$180, this is a very good value for a 4K transmitter.Now for some details....Range test: I tested the range on this transmitter by plugging the receiver powered by an NP-F battery into my TV, opening the window on the wall closest to my TV, and then walking down the street with the transmitter until the signal was lost. After a little back and forth checking as to where it regained signal, I was able to get 120 yards of range. This is very good, considering it was not true "open air distance". It should be noted that both sets of antenna need to be vertical for this range to be acheived.Quality and smoothness: I used this to transmit a ~1.5hr livestream without any major issues. I typically use a hardwired connection for live streaming, and will primarily use this for extra video monitoring, but in a pinch, this is smooth enough and stable enough to use for a live feed with a few frames of added delay for the audio (coming in from a mixer). Very hard for me to find any real noticeable quality difference between wired and not.Connections: The transmitter and receiver has multiple mount points, unfortunately they are NOT 1/4"-20 standard thread mount, they are metric M6x1.0. I have yet to find an adapter for M6 to cold shoe. This is NOT standard, and you will have trouble if you plan to mount this way.It has an HDMI loop-out, which is a nice extra. But the biggest short coming of this design is that the transmitter HDMI connection is on the wrong side! The HDMI connection point directly faces the batter on my camera monitor. As a result, I need to a acquire a special 90 degree HDMI cable to connect to my monitor without interference.I really don't have a lot of negatives related to this transmitter/receiver set, other than that listed above. The build quality is good overall. All plastic, but I didn't expect metal casing at this price point. I would have really appreciated the inclusion of a travel bag, as I'll need to find a more effective way of traveling with these and not busting the antenna.Good performance, great price.
