Good for fire spinning!
I use these for heat protection when fire spinning. They work pretty well, not completely indestructible but they have a good balance of flexibility and protection whe. You want to stay dextrous

Advertised for pet grooming and handling, my 10lb cat clawed and bit through these
I purchased these based on the product description and reviews to be able to handle my cat when he is in a playful mood as he tends to get aggressive suddenly leaving me with scratches that can get infected. The gloves claim to be made of kevlar, yet they offer no more protection than wooly socks. Within 10 seconds my cat delivered 3 scratches and a bite through the gloves that hurt and drew blood. He cannot get through my Mechanix gloves, but those don't protect my forearms. I guess I need heavy falconry leather gloves.

Next best thing to suit of armor.
I have 3 hairless cats that need regular baths. None of them like baths! In fact, they absolutely hate baths! The next best thing to a suit of protective armor is this pair of gloves.
