Works great and is simple to use, makes the color definitely in competition with HDR if you prefer the contrast differences between the two

I'm purely an amateur photographer but I do like my images to come out as best as possible. One area that I saw the most improvement when view my images in Lightroom / Photoshop is that I was able to see more range of subtle changes in shadow areas. My brightness was also set too high which also compounded the shadow issue. The setup was fairly straight forward, and the software does a good job of guiding you through the process.

Finally I have a simple, accurate and easy to use monitor calibration tool! I've tried the other popular brand the i1 Studio, now owned by Calibrite (previously X-Rite) and found it was inconsistent due to having too many features in one unit. The calibration process was lengthy, complicated and ambiguous, but worst of all the software backward compatibility when X-Rite handed its consumer products to Calibrite resulted in buggy operation. The attempt to force an upgrade to new product was apparent. The Datacolor Spyder, on the other hand is a joy to use, much faster and color/contrast/brightness are all very accurate! After calibrating two side-by-side monitors, the images are almost perfectly identical, and certainly when the are printed out there will be no difference at all. Indeed, I may end up purchasing the Datacolor Print calibrating product, just to simplify and improve printing, which given the price of ink and paper, should pay for itself many times over. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the Spyder product, and the price is very affordable as well.

DataColor seems to have NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I received this item, downloaded the software from datacolor web site and installed it, with no problems. Then I ran it and after calibrating my monitor it generated an error and would not save the results. I went to the datacolor web site, clicked on support, and entered my data and problem. THEN IT SENT ME TO A 3er PARTY TECH SUPPORT COMPANY, I HAD TO PUT IN A CREDIT CARD AND ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WAS CHARGED $5. THIS COMPANY TRIED BUT COULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND TOLD ME I HAD TO GO BACK TO DATACOLOR. I DID AND THEY AGAIN SENT ME BACK TO THE 3er PARTY SUPPORT WEB SITE! AND IT WANTED TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. ENDLESS LOOP AND NO WAY TO GET OUT OF IT! Now I find that this also signed me up for an account that cost $55 per month! And you do not know this is happening! The company DataColor send you to is JustAnswer. FTC Sues JustAnswer for Deceiving Consumers into Enrolling in a Costly Recurring Monthly Subscription Agency alleges question-and-answer service falsely claims consumers can get access to experts for a small one-time fee when in reality JustAnswer actually signs every consumer up for a recurring subscription

Easy to use, except you have to download the instructions.

This works great to calibrate my Eizo monitor. Very easy to use (once I downloaded the correct software—that could have been easier as the QR code did not steer me to the SW for my Spyder X).

It'll get 2 monitors next to each other in color sync. However it calibrates a bit too cool rather than neutral. Essentially useless for HDR with Windows.

Perfecto por si buscas los colores reales para trabajar imágenes o video, me ha ayudado a calibrar distintas pantallas de trabajo, y si antes no conocía respecto al blanco correcto, por así decirlo, eso me ayudó. Fácil uso y directo al grano, lo que sí, en pantallas viejas no se nota tanto la diferencia, no se puede hacer milagros.

I had seen this for years and heard of its merits but quite honestly didn’t believe I could use it with my limited tech skills but boy how wrong could I have been . This is simplicity itself and yes the difference between calibration is incredible my eyes had deceived me . This is so easy to use just follow the onscreen instructions and it is great value for money given that prints I make will be sold in one form or another . Wasis compatible with all my macs etc and even my 32 inch Philips curved monitor .

私のデスクトップがまだ、Windows10なので対応出来るカラーマネージメントツールが少なくて困ってました。 折角、購入したeizoのマネージメントツールも11での対応なのでプリンターの色が合わなくて泣くような思いの毎日だったのが 今回、購入したSPYDER2024年度版でマネージメントしたら、かなり色がマッチングして、プリントも楽になりました。 これから、写真活動を続けるのですが！プリントが楽しくなります。

L'utilisation est enfantine, il suffit de télécharger le programme indiqué et se laisser guider. En quelques instants on découvre les paramètres à modifier sur son écran tels que la luminosité et les couleurs. Enfin la sauvegarde d'un profil en fin de réglage permet de facilement basculer entre plusieurs paramètres d'affichage selon les souhaits.
