Meaco MeacoFan 1056P Pedestal fan, Air Circulator Award-winning, super-quiet, energy-efficient pedestal fan for bedroom and general home use

It’s actually a little nicer than I thought it would be. It is not silent. But it’s pretty darn quiet. I can’t figure out how to use the buttons on the fan itself. But with the remote I can set all the settings and buttons no problem. There is a short range for the remote but that’s not much of a con at all. I like all the options. And the oscillation range is vast, it’s really nice.

Absolutely love this fan! It’s nice and quiet. Love the speeds and the modes 10/10 . I was a bit hesitant but it worked out perfectly for our bedroom.

Super quiet ,powerful air ,best fan I ever bought

I gave this 4 stars for a few reasons but I'll start with the good. Pros:Amazing air flow even on lower settings, it has timers, and adjustable settings, but can also be kept on for as long as you need without a timer like others that only have 8-12 hour settings. Magnetic remote holder which is pretty convenient so it doesn't get lost. Also I haven't seen a speck of dust inbetween any of the blades unlike my other fans! The air it lets out is pretty strong and direct I can sometimes feel the air in the next room or even in the hall if my room door is open so 10/10 in that regard! :) Cons: I find the length of the cord quite short compared to other fans I've had so I had to move things around a lot. I also find it on the short side, I've had a lot of standing floor fans and this one is just high enough, but the heigh adjuster on the back has a tendency to slide back down easily and set it back to its default height, so putting it on something might be recommended.

I have the desktop one I bought on woot a couple years ago. Way to big for a desk so I have it on a tall shelf. Got this pedestal fan recently and love it! They rotate how ever you want and works well to cool down my home. Worth the money and plan on getting another.

This fan is awesome, especially for the price point. It’s functional, powerful, and easy to use. My only wish is it stayed out when I extended it. Good value for the money.

It arrived late but was well packaged. This fan really is SUPER quiet, and it’s because its airflow isn’t much. Despite only being 10ft away from my living room furniture, it has to be set on high in order to feel some really good air movement. If you are looking for a quiet fan with substantial airflow, this isn’t the one to purchase. Its lack of “noise” is what keeps me from returning it. The multidirectional oscillation feature is quite nice. Its design doesn’t allow for it to stop and remain in a downward facing position and then be set to only oscillate from side to side. However, the ability to adjust its height offsets not being able to have it face downward while oscillating from side to side. The plastic remote is small and easy to handle but feels like it can easily be damaged. It must be positioned just right and not too far away in order for it to work, but it’s definitely better than nothing. Also, don’t expect to speed through the settings; it doesn’t respond to rapid fire button pushing. I can’t speak to its longevity or durability but seems well built and easy to clean. Overall, I recommend this fan if you find fan noise annoying and aren’t needing a substantial amount of airflow. Update: The fan’s remote control frequency is apparently close to my Roku’s remote. The fan’s remote can change what the Roku is playing and vice versa. Obviously, this can become quite annoying. It doesn’t matter if the remotes are pointing directly at the intended receiver, and my Roku is not sitting close to the fan. I don’t want to change where the fan is placed or where the Roku is located. So I’m taking off another star because of issue with the remote.

I had the pleasure of using this fan when staying with family a few weeks ago during one of the few heatwaves we had this summer This fan is the most quietest and coolest fan I have ever used. I have been using it on setting numbers 1 to 2 and they are perfectly cool enough for me. I am still using it now on setting 1 even if summer has almost gone. Admittedly I probably wouldn't have spent that much but if you want a very quiet fan and a comfortable night's sleep, then its an investment which I'm hoping to get many years of use from it. You can get it cheaper without the stand. It comes with its own remote which sits via a magnet on the front of the fan. Easy to find. Can't say I haven't tried the other settings on the remote but in time I probably will. I got the one with a stand and it stands at the bottom of the bed cooling the whole room. And not forgetting that it oscillates up and down ad well as side to side. It also comes with its own handle so you move it from room to room easily.

This fan has sufficient power to almost blow you away, yet on setting no. 1 it is almost silent. Even on full power, it is still fairly quiet. Its height is incrementally adjustable from a floor-standing to a table-top size. There are several useful settings including side to side or up and down movements, or a combination of both. A control attachment can be removed from the front of the fan and used to control it remotely. There is also an indicator on the base (referred to as 'light' on the controls) which shows the ambient temperature. I would certainly recommend this fan which is at a reasonable price for what it does, certainly compared to those by a certain other manufacturer.

This fan has proved to be better than expected. Very quiet and creates a soft breeze. Excellent fan that is excellent value for money. Wish I had bought it years ago.

If you have been researching lots Of fans and don’t know which one to get-get this one! It genuinely makes the room feel cooler and if you point it in your direction you will instantly feel relief on a hot day. It has a great remote that attaches magnetically to the middle of the fan so you don’t lose it. It oscillates or can be set to stay stationary. Usually I have it set around speed 5 and pointing at me. It is very quiet. Some fans sound like a hurricane but not this one. For cost (more than the cheapest fans, but a couple of hundred less than some well known names) it’s reasonable given it is an excellent product. I got the 1056 which is a standing fan ( although can be lifted to different rooms). I’m now going to get a desk fan too as they are so good. This one lives in the living room now even though the heat wave is gone as it feels very refreshing. You won’t regret getting a meaco 1056. I generally have very little interest in household products but wanted to leave a review for others.

I'd had my eye on this fan for a little while but with the price being in the high side it had always put me off. However, after the record breaking heat in the summer of 2022 I thought I would splurge and upgrade from my old fan myself ready for this year. Overall the fan is brilliant, it's super powerful with 12 separate speeds. It has a number of modes and the oscillating is fantastic. It's also super quiet, on the lower settings you really cannot hear it. The remote, while a little bit of an odd shape for a remote certainly does the job and the fan itself is well made and feels sturdy. However, the fan has 2 major design flaws for me. First off, it is no where near tall enough. Even with it fully extended the head of the fan only reached 2 thirds up my old standard fan. I've had to place it on a stand to raise it up further. And the second flaw, and I do feel this one is just not well thought out at all. The infrared receiver for the remote is on the bottom front of the fan. Which means you HAVE to have line of sight to the bottom of the fan to even use the remote. It's a massive flaw and makes no sense. They could have easily place the receiver on the neck of the fan had bypassed this issue altogether. After all that though, as long as you are aware of these issues, I do recommend the fan. Maybe wait for it to drop in price a little if you can or take a splurge. Great little fan, with 2 very big issues.
