Works great with the little TIG I bought. Pedal is big and heavy which is good. The cable feels a little lite duty so be careful with it. Overall a decent piece.

it is very well built it comes with two different cables and although i do not own a arc captain welder i modified it to work with my aixz tig welder it only required a couple of wire moves. however the write up from amazon shows something to do with a special gear controlling amperage no so it is controlled by a slide potentiometer of 10 k i had previously modified another brand with a rotary potentiometer but the arc captain is less sensetive and easier to controll very good unit and if i ever get an arc captain welder i still have another wire and a very good foot pedal now after using it for a couple of weeks it is very sloppy maintaining lower amp settings if you set your machine to 100 amps and lower the setting with foot pedal it won't go loower than 50 amps there is no returning to 10 or 0 i can't send back to amazon but i will send back to arc captain and eat the costs.

I bought this pedal for my ArcCaptain TIG200 welder. It works well to contol the current when welding stainless and is comfortable to use. I used it to build my custom stainless exhaust system. The only criticism I can think of is the cable is pretty light weight so it won't take much abuse. Fortunate for me is I'm pretty gentle with my tools so it shouldn't be an issue.

It is heavy duty and the action is good.

If you are going to TIG weld - this is a must. I purchased with the Arccaptain 200A AC/DC welder. Could not be happier!!. The control you get from a foot pedal is so much better than a finger trigger.

I ordered this foot pedal for my TIG200 and at first thought the wrong cable was sent. Later I realized there was a secondary cable included that fit correctly. Once I connected it, everything worked fine. The pedal itself feels solid, responsive, and makes welding much smoother compared to the stock switch. My only suggestion would be clearer packaging or instructions so it’s easier to spot the correct cable right away. Overall, it’s a good product and worth the money.

Works well. I was able to rewire the plug to work with a Yes Welder tig as they're essentially the same pedal. Just know that the wiring isn't the same between the two machines, so you'll need to do a little work.

Beginner TIG user here. Done torch & MIG/stick for years. Bought the Arccaptain 200P ACDC a few weeks ago & thought I'd try the pedal. It came with 3 cables, only one of them fit and I had apparently reversed the connections and it didn't work, but once it was plugged in correctly, all was OK. The plug/cable pinout is NOT symmetrical (wiring pic attached). Works well, BUT, depending on your auto helmet, switching via the pedal between very low & high current can cause flashes as the cheap helmet decides to turn off & on (low current=low light=helmet turns off). Also, I believe one needs to be sitting in a fairly comfortable position to use the pedal, otherwise it's like standing up trying to control your car's gas pedal. Might have to grab one of those adjustable swivel stools. My 2 cents anyway!

This foot pedal is an amazing upgrade to the tig welder, with excellent control over current control
