Colour My SketchBook 4: GreyScale Colouring Book Paperback – 23 Sept. 2016

This is Bennett 's fourth book of greyscale images and they just keep getting better and better , he engages with his colourists seeking their advice and input on images before they get included in the books.The books are printed on one side only which eliminates bleeds as long as you put something behind when using pens or inks , the images are all high quality and completely unique I haven't seen any other that even comes close.The images are greatly varied and some take several days to complete they are both challenging and enthralling to entertain yourself with, I would say they books appeal to a wide age spectrum and you can use pretty much any medium you would want to.

Book 4 ..Another great collection of 25 stunning, quirky and totally original works of art for your colouring pleasure !!Pages are single sided and paper is OK quality, I would always recommend having a sheet of thick paper between pages no matter what colouring medium you choose to use to protect images underneath .Look forward to completely this book and to hopefully future books in this series .!!Recommend to anyone ... this book brings out your inner artist !!

I love Bennett Klein work it's bizarre and unusal and not afraid to mix and melt animals and humans to fantastic afect. The patterns are very diffrent and very detailed. I have bought all four books and fully completed two. Having the connection to artist is amazing in Facebook group colour my sketchbook. Well worth it is you like your colouring very sureal

I now have all four books, each contain unique detailed drawings that are a pleasure to colour. A good variety of subjects which means there is something for everyone. Thank you Bennett for sharing your talent, the dedicated Facebook page showcases people's colouring, so many different takes on these pictures.

This is another amazing colouring book from Bennett Klein, with ever more beautiful and fabulous pictures. There is something to suit all tastes and abilities. The paper is good quality and would it be a good starting point to anyone who hasn't tried GreyScale before.

this is Bennett,s best book so far although his first three take some beating,and I cant wait for book 5,well worth the money,would recommend his books(and have done)to everyone I know.

The media could not be loaded. This is the fourth grayscale coloring book in the series by Bennett Klein. The designs in the book are based on Mr. Klein's original artwork rather than photographs as many grayscale books are. While I like both styles in the genre, I am always impressed by the quality and imagination of Mr. Klein's work.With this book, the artist provides a table of contents with the title of each of his pieces of art. The designs are detailed and intricate in nature. Many of them include highly stylized animals and unusual takes on elegant women. They range from whimsical to more than a little bizarre. I always color the designs with tongue firmly in cheek as I think the most unusual of the designs merge comedy and elegance in a wonderful way.This is what I experienced while coloring in this book and testing my coloring medium on the paper.25 Hand-drawn sketches in grayscale based on the artwork of Bennett KleinDesigns are printed on one side of white, thin, slightly rough non-perforated paper typical of CreateSpaceGlue BindingEasy to open to flat position for coloringDesigns do not merge into the binding and there is plenty of room to cut pages out if you choose to do soAlcohol and water-based markers bleed through the page to some degree. Water-based bleed through in spots while alcohol-based bleed through freelyGel pens and India ink pens leave shadows of color on the back of page. India ink can bleed through if you use multiple layers.Colored pencils work well with this paper. Both oil and wax based provide good color when I use multiple layers of the same color. I am easily able to blend (using a pencil style blender stick) and layer multiple colors as well. I generally prefer wet blenders for grayscale designs as I have found that some designs with smear with a blender pencil. Hard lead pencils leave dents through the back of the page.Because of the bleed through and dents, I use a blotter page below my working page. I prefer card stock but several sheets of heavyweight paper work as well.

I got CMSB 4 for Christmas and I am loving it. I know in future, I'll be collecting all the CMSBs that are now available and future books as well. If you missed out on the " Dark" book, it will be rereleased again on Jan. 6th 2017 and will have several new drawings added as a bonus. If you love unique images to colour, then you'll love these fun and imaginative books.

Diese "Colour my Sketchbook" Reihe ist einfach genial. Immer wieder entdeckt man neue Bilder die man einfach colorieren muss. Dabei hab ich immer Angst es zu versauen und bin am Ende doch stolz drauf was daraus geworden ist. Das Papier hat die gewohnte Stärke (etwas dicker als Druckerpapier) und ist einseitig bedurckt. Ich liebe es einfach

des dessins que l'on ne trouve pas partout c'est ce qui fait l'attrait de ces livres; un vrai plaisir à colorier meme si cela demande du temps et de la patience, mais quel résultat au final.

Comme pour les trois premiers , les illustrations sont splendides !!!! Je le recommande .Des dessins que vous ne trouverez nul part ailleurs.
