I need to add a comment to the rather glowing review I wrote a few days ago. Having used half of the paint I returned to use some of the remainder today. What I found was that the lid was almost impossible to remove (see photo). The reason is that, unlike any other paint I have used, this paint has an amazing power of adhesion so that the lid was almost welded to the tin. The action of removing excess paint from the brush in the normal process of painting results in a strong bond when the lid is replaced. THIS MESSAGE IS REALLY ADDRESSED TO THE THE MANUFACTURERS TO USE A MUCH STRONGER LID (if possible). For the present I would advise any user to wipe off excess paint around the tin with a wet rag before replacing lid. This paint is too expensive to waste. In my case, I have had to decant the remaining paint to a clean jam jar.

What a great product! Can’t rate this highly enough. Covered our old fireplace in a bedroom really well. I didn’t even prep or prime the tiles, we just went for it. Needed 3 coats for this finish but the paint goes on really well and gets better with each coat. Don’t be put off by the size of the tin…. I have over half left after 3 coats. Love this product, I will definitely buy again.

I’ve seen a lot of comments saying that the paint is very thin and that is completely true. However, I personally find that it is better to apply a couple, or in this case three thin coats than it is to have one thick coat because when that happens the paint dries on the top but it’s wet underneath for much longer and is therefore not as hardy. I applied over 3 days giving it 24 hours to dry and harden between coats and I gave it a scratch test two days after the last coat and it withstood that. I did alter the colour slightly, I’m an artist and familiar with what paints I could use but obviously that would go against manufacturer’s recommendations. The paint was odour free when applied something that I found invaluable and a first as previous upvc paints made by other manufacturers have in the past almost blew my head off with the fumes and made me quite ill.

After a hallway remodel the oak banister just don’t go with the decor.After a good sanding I applied a coat of paint.Wow the coverage is amazing hardly used any , no streaks left to the finish (painted with a brush) & dried really fast . Only painted with a second coat due to the amount of hand traffic it will see.

Read the reviews for so many products. Found this. PERFECT! So easy to use. Just follow instructions. Easy clean up of brushes & rollers. So glad I've found this product. End results even better than expected.

Great paint a little goes a long way

Not the cheapest paint but I believe the best Have bought a few tins recently and am very pleased with results both inside and out no smell great coverage
