This would work great in any classroom, office, business/warehouse, or setting where people would need to check in and charge their devices.It's not 100% theft proof (uses a padlock), but short of buying a proper safe, this should do the trick in most situations.In a pinch you could set this on top of a deck or in a deep closet. But it's intended to be wall-mounted, should be mounted onto studs.It's perfect for tablets or smaller chromebooks, but not full sized laptops.

This is a very solid product but is not without its problems which is why it's getting four stars and not 5. First, the weight. Most people are going to find this is a problem to hang considering the weight when you take the weight of the cage itself and then add 10 devices to it. We worked around this issue by placing it on the corner of our desk, which keeps it out of the way despite its large size and keeps it near the necessary power source.The other problem is that while it says it can hold laptops it can really only hold small ones. It doesn't come close to holding my 17 inch laptops. With that being said it definitely serves some great purposes in our home.I run a business from home and also have two toddlers. These two toddlers have 6 of their own kids kindles and they also want to steal my iPads whenever they see them. Their kindles never really get a chance to charge and I am constantly replacing the charging cables because they rip them off the chargers and run off with them, not giving them a chance to charge all of the way and destroying the cable connections. On one occasion I spent two days searching for one of my iPads when the little thieves stole my iPad off the charger and hid it inside one of their toy boxes. I had been joking that we needed to find a way to lock up all tabs while they were charging, and low and behold there is indeed a way to do it.This effectively keeps all tabs safely locked away and charging at the same time. No one has access to the tabs while they are locked in this safe while they are in the cage and they can fully charge while locked in there. It's a win win. The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the serious amount of weight that makes it unreasonable for most to hang this and the fact that the devices it will hold is limited. This is a great way to keep business tabs secure and charged, however, without them going missing.
