Indian Textiles

Just the book I had been looking for. It will certainly help me in designing and making bags, cushions and quilts. I felt that I had been taken to India.

Well illustrated, interesting text but left me wanting to know more detail. An excellent book giving an overall picture of the regional differences

The authors are specialists in textiles and have produced a book that covers every region of the sub-continent. The book is beautifully illustrated with photographs of examples of the textiles of each region making this an excellent reference book.

This is a fantastic book on the subject, with beautiful photographs and detailed information about each region of the Indian sub continent and the textiles from each. Obviously quite a big book too, so plenty to keep anyone busy, from people studying textiles or those with a casual interest.

An amazing book, well illustrated and really colourful. It gives a clear idea of the history of Indian textiles and the differences between the work of regions and ethnic groups.

I bought this for my niece's birthday. She loves it.

i bought this book for my wifes birthday,she was very pleased and i also found it very interesting ,the different fabrics from the different areas of india ,over 400 illustrations are great.
