i have to confess i've only used the CD player & radio. i use it in my basement so i had to put some aluminum foil on the antenna to bring in radio signals (no big deal there). the CD player works great.i have not tried the cassette player or the other features. if it wasn't in my basement i'm sure it would get reception just fine. i like that it's litte so it doesn't take up much space and the sound is good. it is portable but i won't need that feature as i bought for lisening to music while i work or my radio programs. the remote is handy.

Put the batteries in and powered it up and was pleasantly surprised. Got it charging on a USBC cable I already have ready for my phone. I was happy it was a C cable. It comes with an extra small one too along with a phono to phono jack wire to hookup anything. Using bluetooth first. Connected flawlessly and the functions work great from the remote as well. The radio pulls in stations just fine. I wish it had AM for the ball game but I have a small radio for that I can use if needed which wouldn'tbe often anyway. Everything else, the cd, and the cassette work just fine and I will use them as I still have both these in my collection. I will use this for sitting outside in the morning listening to music and drinking my coffee. The sound and size is perfect for this. It does alot for the size that it is. And the sound is just fine. Anyone that expects a boombox sound is just being silly and juvenile. That's not what this is for. The sound is crisp and clear and even has some bass. This unit does not sound bad. It does the job. Especially for the reason I bought it. Very satisfied and would highly recommend it.

The sounds was good overall. Nice little design. It's a great little CD player. The bluetooth OUT function was useful. I returned it because the cassette tape recording was not good. Way too much hiss and noise when recording from CD or Aux input.

Didn't realize how much I missed my old CD'S and cassette tapes. This radio is pretty cool. Not only does it play those, but it acts as a Bluetooth speaker and it can stream to a Bluetooth speaker. Very portable and compact. Definitely recommend.

the ac plug is only for recharging. everything works but the sound is meh

You gotta try this portable stereo. At first I was skeptical I’ll admit, but after receiving this a day ago I put it to the test and was very impressed! My favorite radio station that usually comes in weak on my other radio(s) I have been using, NOW comes in strong with this one. And the BLUETOOTH function work’s excellent. EVERYTHING I have BT connects! From headphones, earphones, speakers etc some quite new and older BT devices. That makes me very happy. The diversity of this unit is just awesome. Even my older IPod Nano 5th Gen that is loaded with tunes, all my CD’s, TF-cards I have, USB drives I have, and cassettes I have can now all be enjoyed on this ONE great unit. And the sound that comes from it is fresh crisp and clear , especially when you choose your favorable EQ setting that is at your fingertips. The portability and freedom of having its own on-board battery is a game changer too, at least for me. Im at the pool, at the pole-barn, around the house, or out in the back 40 , I’m lovin it. For being able to travel and listen to what you like in practically any format you choose to use, this is going to be my main go-to device I grab. It’s kinda nice to be excited about something these days and for me this is it. It reminds me of how excited I was when I got my first iPod!And the remote is the cherry on top. I now will embark on a mission to revisit my music and audio-book collections in a treehouse if I so desire, or ANYWHERE for that matter. Music and stories can touch your mind, people, and whoever else is within listening range and this portable unit can make that happen. I’m very pleased with owning this portable boom box.I feel like I went “Back to the Future “ literally.AND after the battery was FULLY charged, first thing you want to do when you first get it, I turned it on and the very first song I heard that had just started playing was:The theme to “Miami Vice”. to me that was so cool! No, it was defective and I have to make arrangement for a return or exchange. It cannot read my CD and the cassette player is not working. Also, the product although it is in its original box, it was not package and the box is not sealed, anyone can open it.
