A Convenient Boost
I decided to try these caffeine pouches as an alternative to my usual energy drinks. I liked the idea of a quick, no-mess energy boost without the added calories or sugar crash. Between work, gaming sessions, and hitting the gym, I’m always on the lookout for ways to keep my energy levels up, so these seemed perfect for me. First off, the convenience is a huge plus. I can just pop one of these pouches in my mouth, and I’m good to go. There’s no need for brewing coffee or downing a sugary drink. The pouch itself is small and discreet, so I can use it anytime without anyone noticing, which is great for when I’m at work or the gym. It fits easily under my lip, and while it feels a bit odd at first, I quickly got used to it. The energy boost is fast-acting, just like they promise. Within 10-15 minutes, I feel a noticeable difference in my alertness and focus, especially when I’m gaming or at work. The 80mg of caffeine per pouch is enough to give me a good boost without feeling jittery, which I sometimes get with coffee or energy drinks. As for the citrus tang flavour, it’s decent, but it’s not my favourite. It starts off with a strong citrus taste, but I find that it fades pretty quickly, leaving a bit of a strange aftertaste. It’s not unbearable, but I wouldn’t call it enjoyable either. I wish the flavour was either stronger or lasted longer. On the plus side, there’s no lingering bitterness, which I’ve experienced with other caffeine products. One of the main reasons I bought these was because they’re zero-calorie, and they definitely live up to that. It’s great not having to worry about extra calories, especially when I’m watching my intake but still need the energy boost for workouts or long workdays. They’ve become a handy alternative when I don’t want to reach for a sugary drink. Overall, these pouches are a solid choice if you need a quick and easy caffeine hit without the calories. The convenience and energy boost are spot on, but I’d like to see an improvement in the flavour. I’ll still keep using them, but I’m curious to try other flavours if they’re available!

Interesting concept but don't seem to work all that well.
I've been testing this product for about a week now in place of caffeine drinks such as tea, energy drinks etc. I'm not a huge caffeine consumer to the point I rely on it to function, nor am I sensitive to it, but I do like an energy drink now and then in the week to help me feel more alert if I have a lot to do. The product works in place of such drinks and the idea is simple. You take one pouch, place it underneath your upper lip and let the ingredients dissolve over time. You can speak and go about your business as normal, but it is noticeable that you have something protruding underneath your lip, so be aware of this if you're in a professional setting or a place you may get some odd looks. In my experience, how long it takes the product inside the pouch to dissolve varies, but I've never had the full amount dissolve before it started to become irritating to the point I had to remove it because it was starting to rub and burn my skin and become sore - the longest I could stand was about 25 minutes and upon removal, the pouch was still full of product. As there are no guidelines on how long you should use it for, it was a guessing game for how long to use it which I feel is quite an oversight. Surely there should be an average guess-timate to guide your customers. When using the product, I can say that each time I felt a very mild sort of 'buzz' after only a few minutes of using it, but beyond that, it didn't seem to do much at all and the buzz did not last longer than about half an hour, if that. I did not feel energised, alert, focused etc. It just felt like my brain was full of bees - which wasn't particularly nice! Honestly, I just don't see how these things can replace or ever be better than a good old fashioned energy drink or cup of coffee. They're also pretty expensive in my opinion - £20.00 currently. A novel idea and I'm glad I had the chance to try them, but I'll be sticking to energy drinks which actually work for me personally whereas these things don't.

They do provide a caffeine hit
I have to say that although these 'pouches' are a bit unique they do offer a caffeine hit. I also have to say that I'm not that impressed with the 'Citrus Tang' flavour as it seems they might have chosen a citrus fruit that isn't that sweet. According to the intructions you put one of the tiny pouches under underneath your upper lip and let the saliva dissolve the product therein, I suppose the idea is that you will pop one in your mouth before doing whatever exercise you are doing and you will get a quick and constant release of caffeine(and taurine). I used one before a treadmill run and, this is purely anecdotal for now, I was ready to keep going whereas the previous two exactly the same runs I sort of struggled at the end. Anyone looking to purchase these aren't doing it for fun and want them to provide a fast acting, convenient caffeine hit - for me they did. I have knocked off a star as it uses xylitol as a sweetener which can be a problem for those with certain IBS - use something else please. In summary, I'm convince the caffeine 'hit' is there but would like a xylitol free alternative.
