Excellent Air Conditioner and Outstanding Customer Care.
I’m genuinely impressed with this air conditioner- it arrived two days earlier than expected, which was a brilliant surprise has it was such a hot day. The packaging was thoughtfully designed: instead of wrestling with a heavy box, you simply lift it off the top and wheel the unit off the base. Very easy and hassle free! The air conditioner itself is sleek and smart-looking. It started cooling the room within minutes and was far quieter than I expected-especially after reading other reviews. It’s simple to use, intuitive, and glides easily on its casters when you need to move it But what really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. Around 7pm the same day, I received a call from the seller , concerned that the courier hadn’t confirmed the delivery. She explained how important it is to them that air conditioners reach customers quickly-especially elderly or disabled people-and that they always try to get them dispatched without delay. She was genuinely relieved when I told her it had arrived at 1am and I was already enjoying a lovely cool room. That kind of personal follow-up and care is rare these days and shows true dedication to customer satisfaction. Highly recommended-not just for the product but for the wonderful service behind it.

Overall Good Portable AC
I'll be honest, I was skeptical about these types of units but now that I have one, I don't know how I ever lived through summer without it before. The difference between this AC unit and a good big fan is Night and Day! Wow! It's changed my summer experience, especially the really hot summer days, from a miserable soaking in the sauna and cursing at the sun struggle fest to a blissful, heavenly zen like meditation session type of experience. Huge difference, sooo happy I bought this! On the cool factor, it definitely has it, especially if you have it blowing directly at you (though not recommended you might get sick), it feels like a ice storm sent from the poles. I really like the remote control too, a little bit better and cooler looking than other units at this price point which makes me feel like my money went somewhere useful. Functionally it's not different than most other units at this price, though you do have 3 fan speeds instead of 2 which is a nice touch. You also have a neat vertical auto swinging function that other units at this price don't often have which helps to circulate the air a little better. However this unit does NOT heat, keep that in mind if you wanted something for the winter too. That said, it's not perfect, but then nothing ever is. Indeed it is a tad noisy, however I did not dock a star for this as for me personally, this is not an issue, however if you intend to sleep in the same room with it, you may want to look elsewhere. For an office or other room where you'll be listening to other stuff anyways, it's fine! Also, don't go in expecting it to cool your entire house or flat, especially if it's big. In my so far limited experience with it, it has been doing a good job at cooling my small office and bleeding some of the cooler air into the rest of my flat too but not nearly to the same chill factor as the room it's in. That said however, I still think it's a God send on these wildly hot summer days! Lastly, in my case, I did have to fight one side of the exhaust tube screwing into the adapter thing for the window side but that might've been just me being silly. I ended up doing a quick pass or two of tape around both those ends anyways to really seal the exhaust air from leaking and it's perfectly fine now. All in all, I'm satisfied with this unit. It's good, not perfect but you'd likely be doubling the cost price to get close to perfect so I'm fine with it as it is. I can definitely recommend this! Just make sure you temper your expectations and know what you're buying :)

Very effective cooling but accessories somewhat let it down
In terms of its core function for most people - providing quick and easy solution to cooling a space with minimal setup - this definitely does the job. At least when new and with full charge of refrigerant, the unit is able to cool a room almost unbelievably quickly. I'm used to car air conditioning that seems to take a while to get going but this isn't like that at all - it simply starts pumping out cool air almost as soon as its turned on. The fan is strong (if somewhat noisy) and can circulate that cool air around most size rooms quickly and efficiently. I'm using this in an average sized living room and it is able to cool the room comfortably within minutes of being turned on. The only real downside is the heat exhaust pipe. The pipe is firstly just too short - it barely stretches one meter, and since the unit has to be placed at least 30-50cm from any walls, this just isn't long enough to reach a window unless placed right in front of it - the exhaust pipe REALLY needs to be longer. The 'seal' provided for placement around the window is also a major faff to install, especially if being used on ground floor windows that need to be shut when not in use - it relies on velcro for seal and the seal is one-size-doesn't-fit-all. Honestly, the pipe and pipe seal together are almost enough to make you tear your hair out, and its such a shame when the unit itself is so great. The unit is fairly heavy but is easy enough to move around when needed. I've no regrets about buying it since it makes the room so much more bearable in summer, but I really wish they'd put more thought into the heat exhaust pipe and the window seal. As it is, recommended, but 4 stars rather than 5.

Powerful and quieter than you expect
We bought this unit to cool down our bedroom before we went to bed. I used a temperature sensor to track how effective it was over time on "Cool" mode and, as you can see, it lowered the temperature significantly in a relatively short space of time, and the air went from feeling thick and muggy to cool and crisp. While my graph shows the entire night, it essentially took about an hour to go from heatwave temps to very comfortable. We haven't used the other modes (apart from briefly testing out "Fan" mode), but it does seem to lower the humidity by a considerable degree which can leave the air feeling quite dry (but this is pretty standard for AC and, if anything, the air feels crisp instead of muggy). Pros: - Relatively low noise: It's a lot quieter than you'd expect. I've had many people tell me that a high noise level is just a natural part of having a portable air conditioner, but this disproves that. There are some air conditioners that rattle and you can't even speak over, this isn't one of them. If you're used to sleeping with a powerful fan, this isn't that much louder, especially if you have it on at the other end of the bedroom. You do occasionally hear a little bit of trickling but that's it. - Looks high-quality: This unit looks and acts like something quite high-end. The automatic fan blades that unfold when you turn it on, the sleek design, the way it just does what you need it to do; it seems very well built. - Instant relief: While it may take time to cool down the overall temperature of the room, you do feel instant, icy relief as soon as it's turned on. - Quick to set up and easy to use: This took about 20 minutes to set up up and 70% of that was fitting the casement window adaptor. Otherwise, it's just a case of connecting the exhaust tube and screwing in the cable organisers (to wind any excess cable round). The castors are pre-fitted. Cons: - Water leakage when moved: while this unit does effectively evaporate air moisture out through the exhaust pipe, if you move the unit around too aggressively (e.g. tilt it or move it quickly) then it does leek a small amount on the floor. - Lack of intensity control: There doesn't seem to be any difference in strength or noise between Low, Medium and High mode. There is also zero difference in noise between Cool and Fan mode. - Oversized window adaptor: The included casement window adaptor is enormous. It does work (even on windows that open outwards, despite the instructions showing the opposite) but the amount of material is a bit excessive and can look untidy. - Difficult to move around: While the unit is quite heavy (but nowhere near as heavy as some units can be), the main problem with moving it is lack of grip. There only one, small hand grip and, though it does have castor wheels, it's very challenging to manoeuvre to another room. Overall, these cons haven't affected our very positive impression of the unit. We would definitely look to buy an identical one for other parts of the house in the future.

Quiet and provides really chilled air…..perfect
It’s ultra quiet and really efficient, on hot summer nights we run this for a couple of hours in our bedroom before going to bed…..and it’s like stepping into a fridge. It’s a really powerful machine and was a life saver last summer in the heat.

Fast delivery, easy to use and it works.
The item arrived within one day of ordering and was well packaged with clear instructions on installation and use of the air-con unit. The mains cable is shorter than expected and the exhaust hose would ideally be slightly longer as we have top vent windows. The window kit is also useful with a zip to put the exhaust hose through and plenty of Velcro strip to attach the plastic sheet. The air-con on the low and cool setting was efficient at bringing the temperature of a bedroom down from 78c to 70c within 20 mins, it’d probably be faster on medium or high settings but not so economical. I’ve not used the timer, dry mode or fan and it’s worth noting that batteries for the remote are not supplied. The unit is quite noisy however , it’s not an unpleasant sound and blocks out any noise from outside. The unit doesn’t vibrate on a wooden floor and appears sturdy and well made. It’s not the cheapest or quietest air-con but it does work very well provided that your room is within the limits specified and keeping the unit on a low setting helps to keep electric costs down. Depending upon how it’s used I’ve estimated it costs about 30-35p per hour on low , cool setting used a few hours a day. Overall, I’m very happy with the unit.

A great AC unit!
I did so much research and read so many reviews before making my purchase so hope this helps others when deciding on which portable air conditioning unit to buy. In the midst of a current heatwave I have now been able to try this unit out and can comment on how effective it is, so here goes:- it came well boxed and wrapped, it is heavy but once inside and opened up the instructions were fairly straight forward for assembly. I have windows which conventionally open outwards (rather than sash or tilt openings) so I haven’t fitted the window guard for holding the hose in place, I just hang the hose out of the opened window and pull the blind and curtains down and across which is fine. The unit makes about as much noise as a powerful tower or pedestal fan. I have a big bedroom (about the size of a double garage) and this unit chills the room to a comfortable temperature within 30 mins, outside temperature has been around 29-33c, the rest of the house inside was around 26-27c. This has been a godsend, I am so happy I made this purchase, it has meant we can sleep in comfort and coolness. I haven’t tried out the sleep mode yet, I have figured out how to set it so will have to have another look, however I have used the timer and tend to set it to run for about 2-3 hours, if we find the room starts to get warm again after that then we have just put the fan on. The unit is on wheels so can be moved around, (a bit hard on carpet but fine on laminate flooring). The only thing is after our first night of using we woke to find the kids had dragged their mattresses into our room! Now we know how great this unit is, I think we will be buying a couple more for their bedrooms.

Cools the room down efficiently and quickly!
This air con is good, it cools the room down very quickly, very pleased with this. I knocked off one star because although "portable" it is "very" heavy. I can't move it but luckily my husband managed to get it upstairs into our bedroom which during the summer is like an oven. If you are elderly I wouldn't reccomend it for the weight reason only.
