I purchased this scope primarily for the range. At 100 yards it is crystal clear with plenty of light and clarity. This knocks my friends scope right out of the range! Big name brand too. He said he paid twice as much for his and the range of view and clarity cannot compete with the Nexiview! The cell phone feature is really nice too. I had a chance to use it. Very easy to install. I find if you're looking for a quick glance at the target, that this is a nice feature to have. setting the camera on video gave me the best resolution. The tri pod is ok. Plenty of adjustments, but basically it's a low end product that is mainly plastic. I get it, it keeps the costs down and that is ok. Nexiview doesn't have to offer it and many people will enjoy it.I have a high quality aluminum tripod that I will be using instead keeping this one as a back up. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the scope, and the packaging was top notch with a very durable box that has dense foam that molds the scope and accessories beautifully. If you're are on the fence about purchasing this scope, hop off and buy it, you will be happy you did.

Tripod is super cheap. Almost be better not to even include it. The scope works well but for the price paid you have to remember it's a budget scope. It would be nice if the rubber eyepiece was snugger so it doesn't fall off. Be prepared to lose the protective cover on your eyepiece. I won't say I'm unhappy with this because I think the price was fair for what you got. It does seem pretty clear overall and I'm sure it will do the trick. It was important to me to keep the price down because this will get thrown in the trunk with a bunch of other heavy objects when I go to the shooting range. I think it'll do the trick for what I'm looking for. The focusing wheel is super sensitive. It would be nice if it clicked and held a little firmer. I can recommend this if you realize you're not paying much so don't expect much. Final verdict..... It's fair for the price.

Great scope. I use it for birding. I recommend it if you attach an I phone to it and use it as a stationary scope. Without an I phone the field of view is too small to locate the specimen. The tripod is a good addition. Produces a clear image, easy to focus.

Customer service is non existent. The website sends you in circles and does not allow for contacting the customer service department. The mounting base on the tripod is weak and cannot support the weight of the scope. My scope fell off the tripod without any pressure or fault of my own. The tripod base is terrible and the scope will break off with no warning. The customer service has been awful so far and the manufacturer website is useless for warranty claims. Buyer beware. Thankfully,Amazon stepped up and resolved the issue with the product return.

The scope is good for a budget model, and works out to about 50 yards. The tripod is a piece of junk and wobbles incessantly. If you're over 6' tall like me you have to crane your neck down uncomfortably to use it. At max height it's neither tall enough or sturdy enough, and will constantly wobble or lose sight picture. With a better tripod it's a functional scope for short range shooting.

I got this nice Spotting Scope last week and can’t wait to bring it for celebrating the return of the monarchs in our nearby state park. This is the first time I can see the butterfly so closely with the help of this wonderful scope. You can fix your phone on the scope and take photos or videos. And also this spotting scope give four adjustable heights which is quite facilitated when my kids wonder to try it out. We also use it to watch birds and it did great. It seems that the birds were just sitting front of you. It is worth more than it values.

Both the scope and tripod come with nice carrying cases. The clarity of the scope is great. The zoom in/out and focus adjustments are smooth. It comes with and adjustable phone attachment which works really well! We are taking the kids out west so it’ll be nice to all be able to view the image on the phone all at the same time versus taking turns and having the kids try and work the scope alone. Very good quality, especially for the price
