If you want to keep your child entertained for hours. Buy this! Great for bringing a friend to help dig up treasures. Bought for my 10 year old who basically has everything, and it was a hit with him and his pals. You may spend more time on the beach, trails or wetlands with this so be prepared!

Quality fun toy for child
Looks like a fun toy! Seems to work - purchased as a Christmas gift and the ground is covered with snow so will update this review later if we discover anything negative. Bought for a 6 year old who is very excited to explore for treasures. Item is made of sturdy plastic, easy to assemble, light weight, adjustable and easy to operate.

Works well
My grandson loves his that we got him for Christmas!

It works but the batteries didn’t
We got this as a birthday gift for my daughter. She was very excited about it, but it only worked for a few minutes before it started to behave erratically. That’s because the batteries in it were dead. Replacing them and it now works properly. If you are going to include batteries they should work for more than 10 minutes.
