Game-Changing LED Upgrade – Bright, Easy, and Worth Every Penny!
I picked up the Termitor 9005/HB3 LED Bulbs as an upgrade for my 2021 Kia Forte GT Line, and honestly, I’m really happy with them. I was a little skeptical at first, especially about the size and whether I’d need any adapters, but these exceeded my expectations. Here’s my honest take: Installation – Couldn’t Be Easier These were super easy to install—literally plug and play. The box even came with a pair of fabric gloves, which was a nice touch in case you’re not prepared with your own. I had both bulbs swapped out in under 10 minutes with zero hassle. Size – No Modifications Needed One of my biggest concerns was the size of the LED bulbs since I didn’t want to deal with dust cover modifications. But to my surprise, these were almost the exact size as my original 9005 halogen bulbs. They fit perfectly inside my headlight housing without any adjustments. No Adapters or Errors I didn’t experience any flickering or dashboard error codes, which can sometimes happen with aftermarket LED bulbs. These worked right out of the box—no extra adapters needed. Brightness – A Huge Improvement At 33,000 lumens, these bulbs are insanely bright. The 6000K cool white light makes nighttime driving so much clearer. Road signs and lane markings pop out more, and overall, visibility is way better than with my old halogens. Price – Totally Worth It I was expecting these to be way more expensive, but the price was actually just slightly higher than a pair of halogen bulbs. Considering I had to replace my halogens every 4 months, these LEDs are already saving me money in the long run. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for an affordable, super bright, and easy-to-install LED upgrade, I’d definitely recommend these. The size, brightness, and price make them a solid buy—especially if you’re tired of constantly replacing halogens. Pros: Simple plug-and-play installation (no tools or mods needed) Perfect size – fits like stock halogens No flickering or dashboard errors Super bright (900% brighter than halogens) Great price for the quality and performance Cons: None! These worked exactly as expected. Would I buy these again? Absolutely. In fact, I’m considering this brand to replace my high beams and fog lights as well. If you’re on the fence, just get them—you won’t regret it.

Just As Advertised
I bought the 9005 33,000 lumen Termitor (Latest Upgrade) headlight bulbs. Amazon isn't smart enough to realize that just because a headlight only uses one bulb that doesn't mean that it uses a dual beam bulb, so they constantly tried to direct me to 9012 (dual beam) headlight bulbs. Fix your software Amazon! My 2017 Ford Taurus Limited uses the 9005 (high beam bulbs in projector headlights. A shutter blocks some of the light from the top of the beam for low beams and the shutter gets out of the way for high beams. These bulbs are perfect for this application. I'm not sure they'd work on reflector headlights, but I'm no expert. I ordered the bulbs on Tuesday and they arrived today (Thursday). I immediately installed them. It took about 10 minutes and on my car you have to remove the air filter housing and hose to get to the driver side bulb. The installation was a breeze. The tabs on these bulbs aren't as big or keyed like the halogen with one tab bigger than the rest. This allows you to line them up to get the best pattern, but they still fit good and tight. I tried to get as close to 3 and 9 with the LED's. I waited until it was dark and took my car out for a test drive. I spent about 30 minutes in high traffic areas, wanting to see if I was going to get anyone flashing at me because my lights were too bright. It didn't happen a single time. I also watched where my lights hit on other cars in various situations and not once did my lights hit their rear window, side mirrors or rear view mirror. They passed the in traffic test, so I headed out to the country. I was driving on a very dark, winding country road doing about 50-55 and my low beams were more than enough to light the way. When I tested the high beams they were exceptional. I even put my lights on auto high beams and they worked perfectly when approaching oncoming traffic occasionally. So, I've only had these headlight bulbs for a few hours, but they have passed every test I have given them. They worked well in traffic and on dark country roads. They didn't bring up any warnings on my Ford Taurus dashboard, they do not flicker and they did not cause static on the radio. These were all concerns when I bought these bulbs and I'm glad that none of those things happened. Plus, I love the bright white of the LED over the dingy yellow of the halogen. My car looks so much better now that my headlights are as white as my fog lights. I would highly recommend these bulbs for anyone with single beam projector headlights with shutters. They are bright, but not ridiculously bright and the beam pattern for me was exactly like the pictures on their Amazon page and the shutters cut off the light to make sure that you aren't blinding anyone. I was concerned that they might be too bright, but I honestly wouldn't want them to be any dimmer. After listening to Amazon and buying 9012 bulbs that didn't fit and going back and forth between trying to decide whether to get halogen or LED, I'm very glad I got these LED bulbs. They are perfect for my car.

Modern Design and Convenient Plug-and-Play Setup
These Termitor H13/9008 LED bulbs have a modern design and a compact setup that makes them an appealing option for someone looking to upgrade their vehicle lighting. The bulbs have a solid-looking construction, and the plug-and-play design is intended to make installation easier than dealing with complicated wiring or additional modifications. I also like that the package includes two bulbs, making it convenient to replace both sides at the same time. The 6500K color temperature is advertised as a cool white, which gives the product a more modern lighting appearance than traditional yellowish halogen bulbs. Before purchasing, I recommend checking your vehicle’s exact bulb size and headlight housing compatibility. Proper positioning is important with LED bulbs because the wrong orientation can affect the beam pattern and visibility for oncoming drivers. Overall, the design and advertised features make these worth considering for someone looking for an LED lighting upgrade. I would focus on correct fitment, a properly aimed beam pattern, and dependable performance when evaluating them over time.

Make Your Vehicle Faster!
Well, maybe these lights don't make your vehicle faster, but you certainly won't need to drive as slowly when your nighttime visibility is vastly improved! I installed these in a '96 Ford Truck, after dealing with very dim headlights for quite awhile. I had tried cleaning the cloudy original headlight lenses, which helped only slightly. I was looking into spending the money on a new set of headlight housings. If I just replaced the bulbs, would the cloudy lenses prevent the new bulbs from working well? I was also hesitant to purchase and install these after a previous bad experience with another vehicle. I had purchased a car in which the prior owner had installed (expensive) aftermarket bulbs that would not adjust high/low beam, and I would constantly get flashed by passing cars, and really didn't have good visibility either. When I saw the reviews and price on these bulbs, I thought it was worth a shot. I tried thinking back to remember when I last changed the halogen bulbs, and couldn't remember replacing them in the 12+ years I have had the truck as the second owner. Turns out, they were 30+ year old original bulbs! Anything should be an improvement. I ordered and installed the lower brightness bulbs (I believe that there were 3 or 4 brightness/wattage options for the 9007 HB5 bulbs from this brand). Wow, what a difference! It has been nearly a month, and I am still impressed with these bulbs. The old cloudy lenses are no match for these. I have not been flashed a single time, as the low beam aim is directed on the road correctly. The lower brightness bulbs turned out to be more than bright enough for my application, and have no visible flickering. The high beam is not so much brighter, as it is more of a high position switch, directing the beam upward and off the road. On a dark rural road, this will illuminate reflective signs easily over a half mile away. Signs are now so bright, they look electric. Freeways near cities resemble the Vegas Strip. The only negative I have found yet is that on the older Ford multi-function switch, mid position is low beam, forward is high beam and pulling back is low and high at the same time with halogen bulbs (super high beam 😀). These bulbs do not function that way, and pulling the switch back flashes to regular high beam only. This is not a deal breaker for me, as these bulbs are bright enough as-is. The bulbs are very similar size to the originals, and installed as any other bulb would. The position of the plug is slightly different, but didn't impede installation. The o-rings may be a bit smaller, as they felt a little loose in the housing. I will be looking to see if there is any condensation buildup, but none so far. I only wish that I hadn't waited so long to replace the bulbs, and will be upgrading my other vehicles with these as well. I am certain that I will not get 30 years out of these bulbs, but I doubt any bulbs would have that longevity these days, and for the price and performance I would be happy if they lasted 5 years. Time will tell.

A must upgrade for night driving!
Upgrading from OEM halogen bulbs to these LEDs delivers a night and day difference in performance. The LEDs produce a crisp, daylight beam that is up to three times brighter than halogens while consuming up to 85% less energy. If you beside to drive with confidence at night these are a must. Low beam, high beam and fog lights.

Not quite as good as I expected, but still excellent.
I will give these 4.5 stars. I replaced my really old, very dim halogen bulbs. My old bulbs were so bad that they only lit up the road about 2 car lengths in front of my car. Beyond that was a black abyss. It was nerve-wracking driving at night, especially in unfamiliar areas. The high beams did not make it much better. So I figured it was time to replace the bulbs. I did a small amount of research and settled on these. They seemed to have good reviews, and I found some positive u tube reviews. These said they had the cutoff line to not blind oncoming traffic. That to me is important as I am not an inconsiderate idiot like many others who drive around with LED headlights blinding everyone because they have bulbs with no cutoff line or are too stupid or lazy to aim them properly. So these new LED bulbs work great. Far, far brighter than my old halogens. The low beams light up the road now for over a block away without blinding oncoming drivers. Basically, the difference is night and day. I can now SEE at night while driving and feel much safer. I knocked off half a star for 2 reasons. 1) the cutoff line is not as sharp or flat as I would have liked. That isn't too big of a deal as it still does what it is supposed to. 2) The HIGH BEAMS are just that, HIGH beams. They are not brighter than the low beams. They simply shine higher up than the low beams. This is good and bad in sense. The high beams do light up a huge area beyond the field of the low beams but it is not bright like the low beams are. And it seems if you switch on the high beams, the low beams look like they turn off. I cannot see as far down the road with the high beams as I can with the low beams... the area in front of the car on the ground, gets much darker. So basically the high beams can light up a 2 story building top to bottom in front of your car but the road directly in front of you gets darker to the point you probably won't see any potholes if they are there. I hope that makes sense. Overall, I am happy with these bulbs and think they will do well. The low beams light up the road so well that I probably won't even need the high beams unless I need to brighten something up which is high up off the ground.

Do you have adjustable electric headlight beam height.
I have a 21 Tundra that I installed these bulbs on. I will say that having a dial to adjust the beams up or down when hooked to a trailer or when the bed is loaded heavily is a plus. The low beams are extremely bright and offer exceptional visibility but the high beams are not as bright and spread up and out to the point that I have to dial me headlights down over half of their range when empty due to see a clearer picture due to where the beams light up the trees or above a roadway. I run these on low beam and leave them there where they are better suited for nighttime visibility.

Old style was better
I had the older style ones with the wire and canbus box on it, they were amazing, the best beam pattern I’ve ever seen, but after 3 years the passenger side high beam started flickering, decided to get a new set, don’t get me wrong. These are very bright, but I don’t know if it’s the beam pattern or the way the LEDs work but on the old ones, the low beam was bright, and the high beam was practically the same but brighter almost says if they both went on, this one it seems like you’re either on low beam or high beam whenever the high beam is on it’s pointed so high up which works as a high beam but with the low beam LED being off I’m assuming the lower end brightness like on the road, directly in front of me is quite dim I thought maybe oh I’m just overthinking it so I put one of my old bulbs back in and I proved my point, the fact that the old one rated at 28,000 lm these ones are supposedly rated at 70,000 lm and the other one puts more light on the road overall even though I would say these are a tad bit brighter I think it suffers from the spotlight issue for me to put this in a good example imagine a light bar that’s a spotlight. That’s what these are, and then imagine the same size light bar, but as a spotlight combo a tad less brightness but overall more light on the road and in front of you I ended up only leaving one of the new ones in to replace the flickering one, but I’m still using my old bulb so I’m a little disappointed that my old bulb still out performs these new ones, I will say I like the design the fact that there’s no extra wire or box it’s all built in. It’s practically like a normal bulb, or it goes directly to the bulb instead of going into a wire with a plug, but I think they need to go back to their old design for the LEDs themselves, if I could still buy the old ones I would definitely return these and buy them instead the difference between this low beam and high beam is way too much of an angle and it drops lower visibility way too much on the high beam as where the old style barely got dimmer when going to high beam and overall you had way more light instead of it just angling up. Okay rant over
