Best cordless Iโve tried
After using our shark cordless stick vacuum and a cheap Dyson wired vacuum for carpets for years, we decided it wasnโt enough for all the pet hair we have and it was time for a new vacuum (2 dogs and 2 cats). I was nervous to try it as itโs a relatively new vacuum and not many reviews were out there, but why not. After receiving it I was pleasantly surprised with how well the suction power was and how well it worked compared to our old cordless vacuum. The quality was very nice overall, itโs definitely not a 600+ vacuum quality but great for what you pay. It was better in every way compared to what we had and I was shocked with how much quieter it was. It works just as well as our old corded vacuum on carpet, and pulled up so much hair. The brush, even when it looks a little skimpy, stirred the carpet nicely with no struggle. With all the pet hair and long hair from us I noticed very little getting tangled around the brush which was nice since that was something I hated with our old vacuum. Itโs bound to happen eventually with long human hair, but no pet hair tangling so far. The light on the head of the vacuum was nice and bright as well, lit up everything in front of it great even during the day with the lights on. The reusable filter was a nice touch too, you can wash and clean it out without having to buy a replacement every time. One negative I did notice, was that the vacuum was a little heavier than what I was expecting or what Iโve used. Itโs mainly due to the batteries I feel like, as those are pretty hefty. However, Iโm young, so I donโt really have a hard time vacuuming with it and itโs pretty nimble. But, if you have some issues with heavy vacuums it might be something to consider.Overall, I feel like the purchase was worthwhile. Itโs pretty strong and does well on hardwood and carpet. It has some good features I can appreciate on a day to day basis. Besides the weight, I feel like it meets a lot of peopleโs needs when looking for a cordless vacuum within this price range.

It is nice! I like it.
So far so good! I got it for my office, probably 400sq ft for 9 people - can get a bit messy. Can do the whole thing, no problem, with about 20% battery. Seems like no performance was lost due to the battery drain, very consistent. I did get the dual-battery option, so even if I wanted to vacuum it twice, three times, four times, I would still have left-over battery. Our issue is paper shreddings. We have to keep docs for years, so we shred a lot once they are matured. So there are little paper shreds everywhere and they get stuck in the carpet. The old-ish corded shark vacuum we had only got them after a few passes. This gets them pretty much every time, no extra effort.I have two dogs I bring in, everyday, that shed profusely; a german shepard mix and a lab mix. Grabs the hair off the low-pile carpet really well! And that was BEFORE I realized I was using the "Bare Floor" settings instead of the "Carpet" setting, on just the regular suction option.I see a lot of people complaining about the weight - it is significantly lighter than a regular vacuum. Not as light as a stick vacuum, sure, but it is also not a stick vacuum - it is just a cordless regular vacuum. About the same height as a normal corded vac, but much slimmer, and much lighter. The hose and attachments are all stored in the main body, which is super neat. No running back to the base because part X is needed, no forgetting one in one room - it is all right there. And it is a combination attachment - so it has the little corner attachment, brush, and extension, all in one. Neato! The base is nice. Charges the power-tool style battery, along with one in the machine.Cons:- Vac head is a bit smaller than most. Not really a big issue, especially if you aren't doing a 1500sq ft house. Appropriate for the smaller home, apartment, condo, etc.; or someone who just really likes vacuuming and wants it to take longer?- The noise complaints I do kind of understand. It is a really annoying pitch, almost whistle noise. A bit jarring at first, but honestly not that big a deal. It's a vacuum. They make no claims of it being quiet substantially quieter.- Kind of a con - the waste bin. It is rather small. BUT, this is also not for a large home - it is a smaller vacuum. I could definitely do my whole office, no problem, but definitely would need to empty it if I did my house.

This is a nice vacuum that works well for me
I love my Kenmore. My mother has used Kenmore vacuums for as long as I can remember and I had tried several cheap vacuums but finally after none of them measured up I found this little gem (in my favorite color even!) and decided to try it out so I could finally get rid of the other vacuums that weren't measuring up. What I like about this vacuum is that it is lightweight, easy to put together and use, it has good suction and changing the bag is easy. I also like the lift up feature and the 2 attachments it come with work for my needs but I do hate that hair gets tangled up on the beater bar but it is easy to clean for me. This Kenmore has a smaller head so will take longer to clean larger surfaces but it works very well for my living spaces.

Cleans well and easy to use, with just a few small negatives
Cleans well and bags are high-quality and well-designed, and easy to install and remove (hands-free). Nice to be able to turn off the brush roll and just use suction. You can remove the canister from the brush roll section to make it a lighter handheld unit with the hose. When detached, the hose is a little awkward as it still has the entire handle assembly rather than just being a wand. Detaching the entire extended handle requires removing the power cord from the clip since that's part of the handle, then hooking it back on when you're finished. The latching systems for the handles are more complex than just sliding one tube into another, so I wonder if they might wear out or break. The attachments are a little easy to fall out of the hose when used too vigorously, and again having the entire handle attached makes it more awkward to maneuver. The machine is very maneuverable, to the point of being too loose. It can be a little difficult to just move in a straight line as the slightest tilt causes the lower section to swivel. The base is not very wide, only 12.44 inches (so less than 12 actual suction/brush area), which allows it to fit into smaller spaces than many other machines, but also means more passes needed to cover the same size carpet or floor.

Pretty bad
This vacuum is terrible. I gave it a chance after writing an extensive early review, and it is worse than I thought. The โanti-hairโ brush role doesnโt build up hair as fast as other vacuums Iโve used, but it does build up and you canโt easily remove it. Cleaning has to be done entirely through the bottom opening. After some hair built up on the brush role it started stopping on a very low pile rug. Seems maybe ok after cleaning the hair manually. If you set this thing on hard floor setting and try to do an almost flat rug, trying to not pick up the rug, the brush role just stops.Switching to hose requires taking it partially apart, so using the hose quick while vacuuming isnโt happening, I didnโt realize how inconvenient it would be. Ultimately we kept the canister and hose from our old vacuum and use that when we need the hose.Steering isnโt hard, but is harder than other vacuums. The handle isnโt directly above the wheels, so it wants to pivot in front of the wheels off center. When trying to turn a tight corner, if you push the handle forward (more upright) it clicks the bottom in the upright position pretty early. So what happens is you need to put the handle up a little to turn in a small area andโฆ click. Ok now you turn it where ever and hold it down with your foot to pull the handle down. Since the motor on the brushrole is crap, it takes a while to spin up, it stops whenever clicked upright. It is super annoying.Suction seemed ok, but figured out pretty quick to just leave it on the high setting. We have mostly hard floors so we arenโt even doing a lot of carpet. The high setting eats through the batteries pretty quick.Power button and other setting buttons being on top the canister not the handle is annoying. I havenโt had a vacuum like that in 20 yearsโฆ

BUY THIS. I've tried dozens of vacs
BUY THIS. We foster a LOT of dogs, and the hair and dust is really something to behold. I have a very expensive Meile vacuum, which works really well, but it's like dragging an anaconda around. It's heavy and hard to manage, and static gets the hose just covered with fur, also it's needed expensive repair twice. I've gone through a LOT of vacuums. Dozens. I've only had this Kenmore for a few weeks, but it works great. I like bags, otherwise dust just blows right back out. Even if this Kenmore only lasts a year, it's a success. It's lightweight but picks up everything, easy to manuver, and easy to change the bag. Replacement bags on Amazon are $18.xx for 6. There are probably off-brand replacement bags that are cheaper.

Best vacuum ever!
This is my favorite vacuum I've ever had-and I've had a lot of them. I prefer bagged vacuums over the canister ones because I want all the yuck contained in a bag that I can easily throw away and not mess with. The bag is easy to install and holds a lot. The vacuum is easy to use. It comes apart easily to use just the hose and attachments, makes into a small vacuum for cleaning the car or window sills, and more. The base at the bottom swivels around, making cleaning the floor easy and fun. PLUS, it's light weight. You can't go wrong with this.

might make me enjoy housework
well, where do I begin? I loathe housework - I would rather be outside than inside, and housework requires that I work inside - ugh - however, I have three dogs (two are Border Collies with undercoats), and a cat, I live in the country near a gravel/dusty road, and I burn wood downstairs to heat the house - dirt, dust, soot, and pet hair are simply a way of life around here, and like it or not, I am required to occasionally vacuum it all up :) about 35 years ago I purchased a Kenmore model 116 upright - awesome, simple vacuum - ten years ago I thought I'd give a bagless vacuum a whirl after the Kenmore went underwater during basement flooding - the Bissell Helix bagless was total garbage - after attempting to clean three times with it, I checked the Kenmore, and while now rusted a bit, it was dried out from the flooding - I turned that puppy on and it ran like always - I have used that vacuum right up to now, and the roller brushes are worn to the point I thought it might be time for a new vacuum - I decided to try this Kenmore Intuition since it appeared to have nice features, was certainly modernized from the days of my old clunker Kenmore, and it has bags - the vacuum was delivered and has been sitting in the box for almost two weeks - during that time my dogs have been doing a great job of ensuring the vacuum's first test was a good one, particularly leaving coat behind on the living room rug - today I assembled the vacuum (easy) and very much liked the ease of reading the various buttons on the machine, as well as how easily the buttons all work - I turned the vacuum on, pushed the button to engage the roller, and it practically vacuumed without assistance - it's light weight makes it very manageable, the head swivels beautifully, and holy cow, it has got some kinda suction! a once over was enough to clean up the dog hair, and once I was on the laminate wood floor, I turned the roller brush off and the suction was pullin' stuff in from six inches away! I am very impressed with the power of this thing - it also has a handle built into the body that makes it super easy to pick up and carry around - the wand is wonderful, releases easily for separate use, and reassembles just as readily - the cord is nice and long, and the hooks to wind the cord up on are far enough apart there is a ton of extra availability for winding the cord, so it doesn't fall off the hooks right away - the head of the machine releases into vacuuming position with a light tap on the head by the diagram of a foot - push the button to engage the roller brush and the green light comes on, or push the button to disengage and the light goes off - I turned the vacuum off for a moment, and when I turned it back on the green light was off - I thought it was already broken, and pushed the button multiple times to no avail - turns out the roller brush doesn't engage until the head is released to vacuum - nice feature once I realized that was the deal -if this vacuum holds up 35 years like my first Kenmore has, it will outlive me - I'll never have to buy another vacuum again - I highly recommend this gem - it might even make me enjoy housework a bit more :)

Lightweight and easy to move
the main feature is that it is a bag device. No more messy emptying of the containers that you experience when using a bagless vacuum. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver so as to clean in narrow spaces. It is my view that this is a far better vacuum cleaner than the one it replaced, which was a Dyson upright.
