Purchased this for my daughter. She needed a costume to play Betsy Ross, but we really wanted something that looked from that time period and not a Halloween costume. She is 11 and a size 14/16 so we got the yellow size 16 years, which was the perfect fit. She loved it so much she didn't want to take if off. The detail in the dress and the sleeves were beautiful. So glad we made this purchase.

I brought this for my granddaughter who is 8 yrs old. I brought a size 6 because she’s petite and it fits well. I read the reviews and they said it runs big. I’m glad I listened. It’s made well and the material is nice. Shipped right on time.

Got this for my daughter to wear to Rendevous, it is fabulous in person and grear workmanship. It so well made, such a cute print and authentic looking. I wish I ordered her age size, she is usually a size bigger because she is taller, so I ordered up and I didn't need to. So order true to size, don't size up, I will add a hem because it's so beautiful I don't want to return it. My friend gave me her daughters one in blue since in the right size and its a couple years old and still in amazing condition!

We bought this for a costume, but it is well-constructed and absolutely beautiful. My daughter loves it and will be using it as a church dress as it’s very well made and is made from high quality material as well. It fit well through the bodice, but was much longer than I expected it to be. I took it up with gussets around the skirt to temporarily shorten it without removing the beautiful lace hem. The mob cap and shawl were well made and gave it a very classic look as a costume that easily transforms to an Easter dress or other nice dress without the accessories. The pattern is very pretty and perfect for a little girl who loves pretty girly patterns on her clothes. She loves twirling in it and says it’s very comfortable.

I have bought a lot of doozies on Amazon but I was pleasantly surprised by this cute little dress. Perfect for colonial dress ups. Great quality for the price.
