Chicago Comb Model 1 Carbon Fiber has a patented design with a loop at one end to hold the comb while combing the hair, or to hang up the comb after use. With medium-fine teeth, it's the perfect comb for everyday use and easily fits in your pocket or travel bag. 5.5" (14 cm) long and 1.25" high (3.2 cm) (slightly higher the end where loop is located) Made of a high quality carbon fiber composite that's smooth, strong, and light. The comb is also naturally anti-static, unlike traditional plastic combs which can give you unpleasant "static shock." And it's heat- and chemical-resistant, unlike regular combs, and is far more durable. Made in USA. Review: Sturdy and smooth - Very good quality has lasted many years and is the same as I first bought it. Review: Good for Gray/Grey Hair - Great comb for older, coarser grey hair. Doesn't pull out your remaining mane!

Great comb!
Hands down best comb I've ever used, I use it for my beard and hair, it's great for detangling without breakage. I've tried it on wet and dry hair, works great either way. Fits in my hand pretty well, looks nice, and feels like it will last forever, very sturdy material. Will be getting another smaller one to keep with me throughout the day

Good light weight comb
Great comb. I’ve had the comb for a few months and would recommend. Light weight and it works a comb should.

An excellent comb without fault
This comb is very high quality, thick, sturdy, and smooth. The size is right and the spread in the tines is great. The material seems nice, although the carbon fiber is not all that discernible from quality plastic as far as look and feel. All in all I like this comb quite a bit; however, I admit that I slightly prefer my Kent comb. After going back and forth, I believe this is mostly due to fact that the glossier, and slightly more compliant Kent gildes more smoothly. In any case it’s a comb and either are good as they come.

My favorite comb
To preface this, I have a few combs I rotate through and use. I have a Pearwood comb, bamboo comb, oxhorn comb and then this Carbon fiber comb. My favorite comb is definitely this carbon fiber one. I really like that it can be used in the shower and is very durable, but is anti static unlike plastic. I don’t bring my wood combs or bone combs into the shower as water can cause warping, so this is great for a shower comb. However when I started using it, it was gliding through my beard so nicely and barely ever gets caught if at all, so now I’ve started using it as my main comb outside of the shower too. I still use all of my combs as they serve a purpose, but if I had to pick one it would be this one. I got the #1 for now, when my beard gets longer and denser I’ll get one of the wider tooth combs from here.

Model 8 perfect for beard, Model 1 for trimming
Teeth spacing on the Model 8 is perfect for my beard. I use the Model 1 (which is smaller and has closer teeth spacing) for my mustache and for trimming my beard. Love the loop on both combs for hanging them. Quality is EXCELLENT. I use the Model 8 every day after a shower while applying beard products.

I love this comb, good size and weight, and the carbon fiber seems to hold up well, it is not plastic as some as said, and the teeth have zero flex, so i am not worried about breaking them. Has a kinda unique feeling going through the hair. I only wish they offered it with the sheath at a good price, I had to order one off of their site, and it was like 40 dollars CAD, while on here they seem to be offered for like 100 dollars with the comb, so that is like 85 dollars on top of the price of this, I do not think it is really needed, i think it will take a lot to break it, even in the pocket loose, but i like having one for some added looks and life of the comb. For now I just slip it into a shirt pocket and it is fine. For 14 dollars I suggest picking one up and trying it for yourself, may seem a little much for a comb, but considering how many Goody combs one can go through in a year, I think the price is justified for something you can have for many years if you treat it right.

Normally combing thick curly hair leads to a mass of frizz. Originally this was bought as a shower Comb however the anti static properties really elevate its functions. Using this carefully to style the scalp is possible and smooths the hair without breaking the curl pattern. (This depends on user skill) Given those things I'm almost at the point of saying that this is an essential product - It's amazing the difference that it makes.
