This is a great watch band. Hello I do heavy construction and I wear my watch 7 days a week and 365 days a year. I bought this watch band because it looked Okay. It lasted about 2 years before I finally broke it. So I feel it is a great choice for a watch band APPEARANCE: this watch band looks rugged and professional. The colors of it are attractive and well designed. COMFORT: This watch band is comfortable. I have very large wrists and it wraps around them without any discomfort. Since it uses a traditional metal buckle system it is very adjustable and is easily adjusted. The band itself is not too thick and comfortably conforms to my wrists. INSTALLATION: since it is an apple watch it literally just slides right in place without any effort. Also it it versatile as this watch band looks so good you can use it for all kinds of occasions including work and personal. If for some reason you want something else for a specific occasion you can easily change the band to something else, it literally take seconds to do it. Update: Okay so I bought this watch band probably like a year ago. I try to leave reviews on all the products I buy on Amazon, and today I was cleaning my watch and band (it got pretty grimy) and I started thinking “I should update that review if I ever left one”. Turns out I never left a review after buying it. So here we go: First things first: this is a great rugged Apple Watch band. I always have Otterbox-like cases on my devices because I’m rough with them and I’m clumsy at times. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find a rugged band that fits my huge wrists. This one does, and I still have 3 holes left on the band. So if you have a big wrist, this is the one for you. If your wrist is small, you might need to cut the band down some, but that should be easy to do with a new razor blade. Second, the edge of the band comes above the plane of the screen, so you won’t bang your watch face on a flat surface (still gotta be careful about pointed hazards, though). The crown is exposed, and it moves just fine. The buttons are covered and they work great even in the case. There’s holes for the speaker and mic, but they have some form of mesh on the larger one, so no worries there. It’s comfortable and it looks cool. Looks rugged, but not overtly bulky. It’s easy to clean even when it gets grimy, I use water, a toothbrush, and 91% rubbing alcohol for the tough grime. The brush gets in all the nooks and crannies. Okay now to the reason I decided to come back and do this review a year later. This thing is STILL going strong. No tears, a few scuffs on the metal band loop, but that’s to be expected. I’ve worked on my car engine with this on, I’ve mowed yards, I’ve done a shower remodel, I’ve done everything. Haven’t broken the watch (or the band) yet. I’m considering buying a new band in maybe the orange or green just to have something that looks nice for the occasional style flair. But as far as the tried and true black band, I’m gonna keep it and keep using it 80% of the time. Oh, and it’s easy to pop the watch in and out of the band. It’s not hard to do. If you wipe the watch and the band down once a day, it won’t get grimy. But let’s be real: few people will do that. Original Review: I bought this band for my Apple Watch 8. I wanted something that was rugged enough to protect the watch without being too bulky and I am a big guy with large wrists. This watch band was perfect for me. I usually have it on hole 4 or 5 from the end, and there's still plenty of band to tuck under the loop. The button and dial work great, and it's easy enough to pop the watch out so you can clean the band/case. I just use a toothbrush and soapy water, comes out looking like new. I've had it for a few months now, wear it daily, and haven't had any problems with tearing or anything else. If you're a bigger guy/gal, rest assured this will be a good band for you. If you have a small wrist, you'll probably have a lot of excess band unless you cut it down.

It's the perfect size fit perfectly. Looks great and completely covers the sides of the watch hiding a color that I'm tired of and giving good protection. Band is comfortable. If I had one small complaint it would be the bezel is difficult to turn in its cavity. But not a deal breaker.

I recently decided to go back to a more traditional watch band, after using a magnetic band for the last three years. A number of reason went into making this decision. I needed a watch band which would have a way to protect the face of my watch, without needing the use of any tools. NO TOOLS NEEDED! I simply snapped the watch face into the face cover. This was very important to me, since I have arthritis in both hands and which makes using tools difficult for me most of the time. After taking the band out the box, it was pretty stiff, but this may be due to the thickness of the band. Hopefully, it will become more pliable after wearing it more. I wear my wear my watch from sun up to sun down, including when I exercise. Any watch I wear, must be durable, easy to clean and made from high quality material. So far, so good! The band has a rugged, G-force, look to it as well, which was a plus to me, at a significantly reduced price. I don't change watch bands very often, so when I do, it has to look good and be tough. At this point, I firmly believe, I'll be wearing this watch band for a long time!!!

Bought this because I didn't like the "feel" of the basic watch straps. It looked nice from the pictures to, was inexpensive, and had tons of high reviews. Why not bite the bullet and buy it? I did not notice it doesn't have a screen protector. That's not why I'm taking stars off, as this information can be found on the product page. I just want to warn people in case they're thinking you get straps, case, and screen protector all in one. You get straps and case. No protector. This product feels durable around the case. Think an phone otterbox but for your watch. This is a plus. What sucks is the strap is cheaply part of the case. It's all rubber. There is no hinge, so the watch is constantly forming a loop. If it was hinged, the case itself could lay flat WHILE the band is also laying flat. The images of this product make it look like where the case meets the band is hinged. That's just for aesthetics only--band and case are all one mold of rubber. This becomes an issue when charging on flat chargers. It probably works with the supplied apple charger because it's small enough, but the unmovable loop shape of the band will not let it lie flat easily on a charger. What's double disappointing is I'll see reviews for this product with screenshots supplied showing a version of the band WITH hinges. The hinges are clearly metallic. I don't fault any sort of misleading information or anything from the manufacturer of this product. I see a version of this band that has metal hinges available for purchase for about 10$ more. I needed a case with a screen protector though. I love my Misxi tempered glass case, so I'll be sticking with that and finding a separate band. If you're looking for something rugged and can supply your own screen protectors, this is probably for you. The metal clasps are nice enough. But the band feels cheap being part of the same mold as the case, and it completely ruins flat charging. I suggest spending a few more dollars for the product that comes with hinges on the strap.
