Seeing this listing, I thought the orange hand in the centre would be for the seconds. It’s not - it only moves when the stopwatch is activated. Instead the seconds for the time is the little dial below. Apparently that’s how proper chronographs are set up and I’ve no reason to doubt that, but it’s a bit off-putting having one of the three central hands not moving throughout the day. Also bear in mind there’s no date either - probably true to chronographs as well but not massively helpful. The watch is well built, though I found it to be exceptionally busy. There’s a lot of surface detailing to the band, bezel and dial which for my preference was a bit too much. It depends what you want, and I was looking for a smart, slightly technical-looking watch. However the compromises in its mechanism, alongside the somewhat fussy styling, meant this wasn’t for me.

I bought this as a possible replacement for my Seiko Flightmaster - first mistake. I have had lots of Casio watches over the years and they are good quality items. This one has a distinctly flimsy feel to it. The bezel moves very easily and does not seem to have any resistance at all. The luminoscity is poor and not long lasting. The bracelet is also not a quality item and is very lightweight. To cap all of these though was the fact that it arrived in a very squashed box and just after it arrived (on time) Amazon sent me an email saying that is was now six pounds less than what I had just paid.

I absolutely love the value of Casio watches and believe everyone should own at least one...or a dozen. The Casio Slide Rule Chronograph is no exception and offers a lot of class at an affordable price. THE GOOD: It looks stylish with excellent contrast in the design and color scheme. The orange second hands and bezel accents are a lovely addition. The chronograph functions flawlessly, and the added "click" when pressing the pushers is a nice touch and serves as confirmation that the buttons were properly engaged. The hour and minute indices around the face are easily-readable, which should be an imperative consideration in any watch. Oh, and it will garner compliments from friends, strangers, and pesky insurance salesmen trying to butter you up. I have not submitted it to aquatic use yet, so I cannot comment on its water resistance. Though, this watch will probably not be one I grab for fishing or other water-related activities. THE BAD: The bracelet. As numerous other commenters have shared, the bracelet feels cheaper than Dollar Tree flip-flops. It functions for its intended purpose and is nice to have when you want to go for that look. However, I replaced mine with black-and-pumpkin silicone band from Barton, which pairs beautifully with the existing color scheme (pictured). Leather bands also look excellent on it. As other commenters have shared, if you are looking to actually USE the slide rule functionality for actual, real-world calculations, you may be out of luck. The slide rule indices inside the rim of the crystal are incredibly tiny, very hard to read in anything but good lighting, and are positioned at such an angle as to make them nearly impossible to read in general. So, if you're buying this for the purpose of on-the-go mathematics, best to keep looking (perhaps towards the Casio Edifice line). Overall, though, I am very pleased with the watch and happy with the purchase. If you are wanting a stylish chronograph watch that is reliable and won't break the bank, I highly suggest you purchase it.

The packing was very hopeless and once i opened the package i thought watch glass must have been broken and it will be having scraches. i was lucky it was not the case but everyone can not be lucky enough. the watch was packed loose in a bubble envelope. The quality of watch seems to be at par not the best as middle knob to adjust time comes out if rotated in anticlockwise direction and you may have to move 12 hours to adjust just 5 mins time. Looks wise watch seems good and feels like premium. Important point there is no warranty in india.
