I bought this vacuum to replace our corded Bissell hard floor expert. We all dreaded having to vacuum our hard floor due to power cord getting in the way and getting tangled. I was very skeptical about cordless vacuums until I bought this one. Let me tell you, this sucker really sucks, it is powerful. We all now use it effortlessly..no more wires to worry about. Now everyone in our household wants to vacuum, even our kids. I like that you can extend the size or shorten it with the push of a button. The light is a big plus, now you can see when vacuuming under the sofa or bed. The wall hanger/charger is great because you can have it readily available and charging. The battery life is really good .We have used it without the battery dying on us. This was a good investment. Buy it, you won't regret it

Mixed emotion on this one! Pros: Sleek, simple to use, works great on non-carpet floors. Green light to see dust and debris on ground. Suction is well enough. Easy to remove dust bin, easy to dumb, easy to remove roller for cleaning. Cons: Decent on carpet, but not great for pet hair. When pulling backward, will just leave a bundled line of rolled up hair that you have to go back over multiple times to pick up. Builds static very quickly, then when either moving hand around the grip or even touching the roller to a metal object, you will hear the static shock, and then sometimes the battery will over-ride and you have to take it out for a second. The front roller has three led lights and from the static discharge, two of them have broken. Can't stand on own (which I knew), needs to lean/lay or be on charger mount. Overall, if i was to only use on wood/Vinyl/tile, it would probably be great but it seems to have some difficulty on carpet. If you're a PET OWNER, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Great product with surprisingly strong suction power for a cordless vacuum. The lights are a great addition as it enabled me to see dust bunnies that I normally would have overlooked. It’s not a standalone vacuum, but not a deal breaker for me as I just lean it against something. It’s light and maneuvers well. Only issue I had was the battery itself dying quickly on me. I emailed the company directly and they said they would send me a replacement for the original, will update as soon as the issue is resolved.

I was honestly concerned about not buying a major name brand, but the price was too enticing! I am not disappointed so far. It's very easy to set up/use, and it's effective at sucking up the mess my four dogs leave all over my house (fur, crumbs from treats, fur, leaves and dirt from outside, etc., did I mention fur?). The cordless feature is fantastic since I don't have outlets in all the places I need to vacuum, and it's so much more convenient to just walk around rather than having to unplug, deal with cords, and move to different outlets. The dust canister is pretty small, but it's easy to remove and empty. I LOVE that the suction is easy to adjust and control for different surfaces. It does a great job on edges and corners. Overall, I am extremely happy with this choice!

**I do not have carpet anywhere in my house so this review does not include how well the vacuum works on carpet.** For hard floors it's perfect. It reaches the edges extremely well and even larger debris like bark from firewood. It perfectly cleans the ashes that wind up on the floor in front of the fireplace. On the low setting I really like that it doesn't suck the edges of my cowhide rug up into the vacuum while simultaneously getting everything off the hide. I turn the setting higher for the brick flooring and it picks everything up between the brick. The swivel head of the roller attachment is excellent and the vacuum lays completely flat so I can get under the furniture. The battery life on one charge is impressive. I've used it 5 times now without needing a charge but I rarely have to put the setting above low because it does the trick without needing more power. The debris catcher comes completely apart for easy cleaning. The headlamp is a plus for dark areas in a room. The only drawback that I can see which is not much of one is that my dog's fur is course so it tends to clog the hole where the debris catcher meets the machine. But that's an easy fix and doesn't happen every time nor is it cause to drop the rating I've given. The touch control is really a plus and easy to read. It stores easy and out of the way. All in all a very good vacuum and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

This is the second CHEBIO V18 vacuum I’ve purchased in the past twelve months. It’s a fantastic vacuum with a lot of power. The battery has never decreased while using it at several power levels. Great for stairs because it’s lightweight and the head swivels easily to fit each step. It is also telescoping to adapt to user’s height but also to vacuum ceiling fans, curtain tops, etc. This is the perfect vacuum for quick cleanups and the best part is not having to vacuum only as far as the cord reaches into the next room! Love the cordless freedom — I plan to see how it does vacuuming out my car next.

Was kinda skeptical about this but surprisingly it works very well. My daughter bought it to use it at the grade school because it got around the desks better. Easy to do use, clean, durable-and plenty of needed attachments.
