I can't be bothered with making cocktails, and drink things neat. What I'm looking for, therefore, is a really nice flavour, and the absence of overpowering "alcohol" taste which I can't stand. I mostly drink liqueurs, but I like both sweet ones and really herbal things. This is one of the latter, and it's sublime. It's so enjoyable to sip it and let it sit on your tongue to let the many secret herbs waft through your nose. We are lucky that the recipe was rescued from being lost in time. The price, for me personally, is very good value because I drink it so slowly.

When making cocktails. This is a very good Vermouth. It is a quality product which I constantly order and use

I love this particular vermouth as base for a Negroni. Since tried first I tend to always go for it. Got a uniquely slight herbal taste to it. Can't compare it with others. So the liquid is 5 star. But with this particular bottle I was unfortunate. I believe that it went off as smells like wet cardboard - so does the Negroni. Maybe worth checking others.

I bought this as I wanted a better quality sweet Vermouth than say Martini Rossa to see if it made a difference when used as a mixer in cocktails. Initially I bulked at the cost but then realised it was a litre bottle. I’m so glad I made the leap and I’m just about to order another bottle. Whether you have it neat with some ice or soda or as a mixer this a really great vermouth. It lifts a cocktail and my favourite is a Negroni which it adds a whole new dimension to. It has hints of cherry and still retains a floral presence in what ever the drink.

I was introduced to this negroni ingredient at the Kilberrie Inn. It really makes a negroni come alive. Worth it.

The bottle was leaking when it arrived. I had bought it to take overseas as a gift soni had to leave with it, but worry about the product as it should have been airtight.

Pure, raw, and unapologetically 'wild.' There’s a vibrant, herbaceous energy here that reminds me of mountain air and crushed herbs. It tastes less like a manufactured product and more like a direct snapshot of the vineyard’s soil and sunlight. I love every drop as I love life itself.

Rich and warming... citrous, delicate spice notes, lovely colour... for my Negroni... makes the "common" vermouth Rosso taste like transparent tasteless sweet cordial!
