Helpful during my strength training workout.....This review is for (their headline description and spelling):"Elbow Brace Support, Comfotable and Adjustable Night Elbow Sleep Support, 2 Removable Metal Splints, Elbow Splint Brace for Tendonitis, Stabilize Joint for Pain Relief for Men and Women"I really like this style.I've ordered several types; some a single tubular sleeve, some a small firm foam pad with a neoprene adjustment strap, and this type, which forms into a tube, with three (attached/integrated) adjustment straps.This one looks almost exactly like others I've ordered, but is a different *brand* name and the straps are a little wider.This cut/style, is my favorite (with the metal splints removed) to use when doing my strength training workout; the three straps allow a very specific tension/support to each part of where it is on the arm/elbow.As the product page mentions, this has (removable) metal side splints.They are secured in their own sleeve on each side of the cuff and stay in place, covered by a velcro type flap/closure.They are easy to remove/put back in/if you choose to.They do a competent job of immobilizing the arm, if that's what you're shooting for.The splints on this brand are about as wide as a Popsicle stick.The splints on the other brands have been about as wide as a tongue depressor (about 4 times as wide).The components of this look and feel like good quality materials.The pass through rectangular "rings", the part the two straps lace through, are made of plastic, but so far on the other ones, they are strong and up to the task, and *these* look exactly like *those*.At its longest, this creates a cuff that is 8 1/2" from end to end.There is an attached, lightweight (inside) fabric liner which separates your skin from the straps/velcro.All of the hook and loop ("Velcro") closures at the end of each strap that create the cuff, are strong and capable.Gave good support during my workout; felt about the same as the other brands.This appears to be of quality materials and workmanship.Helpful, glad I ordered.I've given a 4 star rating based on initial impressions and *perceived* quality, not on long term use.I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

This X-shuan elbow brace is well made, easy to use and provides good support. Brace comes with two metal support splints that can be removed if desired. The neoprene material does have the typical smell, noticeable especially when taking out of its packaging.

Overall this is a good elbow brace, but I do have a couple issues. The brace itself is made out of decent material, and is design well. But after wearing it there is a couple of minor issues to keep in mind. The metal side supports does give you alot of support, but ight be to ridgit at times. But they are removable. If you do remove them to use the brace for lighter support, The center velcro strap will rub you, if you bend your elbow to much. But if you do need a heavier support I would recommend it.

My last elbow brace was confusing, uncomfortable, and not that great, this was sturdy, comfortable, and supportive for weak/injured/aching joints!

Functional elbow brace. The metal splints are removable - with them in you cannot bend your elbow - which is perfect when you're trying to keep your husband from scratching himself in public.When you just need support - take the splints out and it's like a compression sleeve. It has a liner inside of a silky material to keep from irritating the skin.

Brace is easy to put on, has substantial bracing on both sides, has a soft inner liner for comfort.

I recently strained something in my elbow when I was lifting something heavy. All my at-home remedies seemed to indicate that it was tendonitis, either golf or tennis elbow. After some research I figured that I needed rest, ice, and compression, so I started to look for an elbow brace. This brace had rods in it, so I thought that might help with the rest and compression. I wore it all day with the rods still in it. As you might imagine, the rods kept my elbow from bending except for a slight flex. Any activity that required bending my elbow was impossible. I did have a little trouble getting the brace on properly, and it slipped down after some use. It’s still too early to tell if I will make a full recovery from the initial muscle strain, but this brace seems to be helping.
