Germall - Preservative that works!
Germall is my go-to preservative when I want peace of mind without hassle. It’s broad-spectrum, easy to incorporate (no heating necessary), and plays nicely with most water-based formulas. I especially love how little is needed—just 0.5–1% gives excellent protection against bacteria, yeast, and mold. No odd smells, no separation issues, and no drama—just quiet confidence in your product’s shelf life. Great quality
First time trying this product and so far so good. The bottle looks large, but it’s not that big. It’s only 16oz. Find a 16 oz bottle to compare what you will be getting. I used this for some homemade products and it works well! Make sure to follow the manufacturer ratio. If you are unsure how much you’ll need google your recipe to be sure you are using enough.

Thick white paste
I’ve been using this brand for quite awhile and never had a problem with the preservative until I bought the 32 oz container. This preservative was a thick white paste, it’s supposed to be clear. I reached out to this company last November to see if I could get help with this but have not heard anything from them. $72 is a lot of money when the product isn’t any good.

There was no expiry date on this so I’m guessing since it is a preservative it don’t need an expiry date as it’s supposed to last on its own. I recommend this amount if you’re just starting up a business. Since much is not required in this it can last anywhere from 2 years to 5 years depending on the amount of product you make and how fast your product sells.
