The effects look awesome, and the shape mapping feature makes it even better if you like customizing how your tree looks. We’ve been using these for about 2 years now and they’re still amazing. They’re also easy to store and quick to set up again the next season, which matters a lot when you’re dealing with a long string like this. They work really well for large to medium trees—99 feet gives you plenty of coverage. And honestly, the best part is the reliability: you don’t get that typical headache where one bulb fails and you’re stuck troubleshooting half the strand. They all light up consistently, and the set feels sturdy and well made. Highly recommend if you want smart holiday lights that actually last and don’t create extra work. I have been eyeballing light you can change and control for a while but was reluctant to spend money, but I have to say I’m sad I didn’t buy them sooner! Out tree is a little under 8ft and I was worried that I didn’t get a long enough strand, but I had to keep adjusting just to get it to fit ant the top so that wasn’t an issue. It was super easy to connect to the app, map your tree, and start modifying. The variety of options is spectacular! You can choose from the many premade settings, make your own DIY design, or find one someone in the community made. Adjusting the brightness is easy and so is working the timer function. I added my favorite setting to the timer, but changed it every once in a while for fun, theme, or mood and the timer settings reset the next day. Unless you go in and update, I did for New Years. If you have multiple Govee strands, it’s easy to and switch between them. These are easy to use, beautiful, and quality made lights that will last for years! Not only does it do its job well but it far surpasses. I don’t want to take my tree down now and I didn’t even think my tree needed any ornaments it was so lovely.

I’ve gone through plenty of cheap string lights over the years, but these Govee lights are definitely a step up in quality. The first thing I noticed was the length—at 328ft, I was able to cover a massive area without having to daisy-chain multiple strands together, which always looks messy. The color quality is where these really shine (literally). The RGBWIC tech makes the colors look much more "pure" and vibrant compared to standard LEDs. I especially love the warm white setting; it doesn’t have that harsh blue tint that most cheap Christmas lights have. The app is super intuitive too. Being able to set timers and choose from a ton of different motion scenes from my phone is a huge convenience, especially when it’s freezing outside and I don’t want to go out to unplug them. They feel durable enough to handle the weather, and the 1000 LEDs provide a really full, dense look. If you’re looking for high-end smart lights that you don't have to replace every single season, these are definitely worth it.

I bought these they were supposedly on sale. They were still really expensive. If I knew then what I know now then honestly I probably would’ve paid twice as much. This has literally transformed our tree into something so beautiful, so changeable. It’s magical colorful miraculous. I know I sound dramatic. I just can’t believe how good the app is and how many things you can make the tree do, to match every mood or any color scheme. I can’t believe how high-quality this Lighting string is. It connects so reliably to the Wi-Fi, I can control it from anywhere I have an Internet connection. Save up and buy these lights. You’re going to love them.

Govee lights are the best. I use them in many ways. These lights are no different. Used on my tree. Other than pastels, the colors are beautiful and bright. They are easy to change and the updated AI is fun to play with.

I really do like these lights. They are so much easier to put on the a normal Christmas light because they don’t tangle so much I ended up buying I believe the 66 foot one for my 7 1/2 foot tree and I did feel like I could’ve used more lights so probably next time I would’ve bought the 99 foot. The lights are gorgeous. I love how you can change all the colors and how you can change different settings to make them do different things. It’s so beautiful because I was used to just using one color of lights usually white and I hadn’t put colored lights in a long time. I would highly recommend these, but make sure you try to get them when Govee is having a sale, they weren’t too expensive for me again I would highly recommend these lights against your traditional Christmas lights that you buy in the store. I could never get the right shade of white, but this ones you can also mess with different colors of white and different colors of everything. I might use these for another part of my house and buy a longer string for the tree. I also love that you can do the musical movement with the lights as well when you put music on so cool and it is controlled by Alexa.

These are the best Christmas trees lights ever. I bought a 9' Christmas tree from King of Christmas and was a little concerned that I didn't purchase the pre-lit version. I purchased these lights because I have the TV backlight and I have experience with their app so I had some idea of how they should work. They come in various lengths and I bought the 99' version. I wasn't sure that was enough so I did some research and bought another 99' strand. These lights DO NOT physically connect. I knew this but again, I purchased lights from govee before so I had an idea of how they should work, and work they did. With the app you are able to group the sets together. I have no idea how exactly it knows where the bottom of the tree and the top of the tree is, where the one set begins and the other one ends, but it does, and it does it well. They are extremely easy string up because the LEDs are inline, they are easy to put away because they roll up neatly in the spool. With the app you can individually color each light, use preset scenes, have the lights dance with music, the options are almost limitless. I don't write too many reviews on Amazon, but I'm so impressed with them that I'm going to add another 99' strand for next year. Quality product, phenomenal price when on sale (actually would pay full price and wouldn't feel as if I paid too much the product is that good) you can mix and match strand sizes and they coordinate seamlessly. This is one of the best things I've ever purchased. I believe I will enjoy these for years to come.

These lights exceeded my expectations. They have a lot of preset options, DIY colors and are beautifully bright. You can change the brightness if you don't want them as bright as I do. The app works great and love that I can set a recurring timer so they turn on and off at any time I want and any days I want. Also allows control from anywhere since it's controlled through my WIFI and phone. The individual lights are built right into the string so nothing sticking out and feel that made installation easier. They are very durable but I did have an issue and most likely due to where I placed them. Customer service was the best I've ever had and Govee definitely stands behind their products. They had me back up and running in no time. I rarely leave reviews but felt I had to share my experience and let future customers know how awesome these lights are. Not the cheapest lights out there but you get what you pay for and I'll definitely buy from Govee again if I want any other types of lighting products they offer.

I have 10+ Govee products, I trust the brand and have had the best experience with it! This year I gifted myself these Christmas tree lights and I am so stoked about them! They came in a beautiful box, neatly rolled up. I have a 6' tree and ordered the 99ft version because I love when there are plenty of lights. As usual, connecting them with my Govee app was a matter of 5 minutes. The Govee app is awesome, by the way, there so many presets for every taste, every colour palette, every rythm, every mood! The lights can dance in the rythm of the music in the room, they can be controlled by your voice assistant or automated with timers etc. So much customization, so many options! If you wanted to, you coul even literally draw on your light string in the app with your finger to choose which lamps will light up in which colour! I'm plenty happy with the presets though, but there are lots of DIY features where you can create whatever you want. As I said, I have 10+ Govee products, starting from LED light strips to ceiling lamps to smart bulbs and now Christmas tree lights and their products have never let me down. The oldest product I have is 6 years old now and still working great. If you're looking for smart programmable Christmas tree lights, it won't get better than this :)
