This knife set not only looks amazing but is very durable!! These knives come very sharp, and the shape of the handles make them easy to use. They have a slim build and are very lightweight. The color matches great with my cookware. The magnetic block is not bulky or heavy. It also has slide resistant pads so it easy to pull a knife with it moving. The only issue I have with the set is that the sharpener came with a black handle instead of blue like the rest of the set.

Just got them yesterday. Very safely packed. All the knives are there, the additional safety gloves are a plus. I really like the space-saving magnetic block/holder for the knives. Strong without being difficult to take the knives off. The hand fit is excellent, they're quite easy to handle. As to ease of cleaning, wear the safety gloves when washing or doing close work. These are VERY sharp. And the one very minor issue? No instructions/inventory list. That sort of information is helpful (especially if you plan to give this is a gift). I've contacted XYJ (the manufacturer) to see about getting a hard or soft copy. I highly recommend this set!

I enjoyed these so much I purchased another set to gift. Nice Quality. Update: package opened on Christmas with the magnetic board broken. Was sent as a gift in another state. Disappointing. I don't feel right making my mother in law repackage her Christmas gift in hopes the replacement arrives in tact.

Very nice beginner knives! These are going to be perfect for culinary school. I like the handles on them, they're quite comfortable to hold. Blades are extremely sharp. I was going to test them later today but did an accidental test on my thumb unpacking the knives. Completely my fault. But barely touching the blade left a clean slice on the top of my thumb. Just be very careful, its like cutting through soft butter with these!
