I live in Michigan and usually keep my 300C in the garage over the winter months so it has never been exposed to road salt. My garage doubles as a gym in the summer, and used for storing my car in the winter. This year I decided to leave the gym open and have it available through the winter. When we get warm snaps (above 40), which we do often, my heater can keep the garage warm enough to work out - so that is why I bought this cover. I was not sure what to expect in this price range but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. The material seems very strong yet soft enough on the inside where it won't scratch the finish. I was able to install it on my own in less than five minutes. Only has two tie downs that clip under the front and back of the vehicle and they hold very securely. I check it every now and then, especially after a wind day, but so far it has not loosened a bit. We have not had any serious snow yet, but I don't expect that to be an issue. I don't plan to leave the snow on the cover either so as to extend the life a bit. But at this price point, I'll just buy another one when this one wears out. If it last just one season I'd be satisfied - not that I have low expectations. Right now I can definitely recommend the cover just based on the material quality and ease of installation. I'll provide an update if things go awry. Update 2/17/19: It's the middle of winter in Michigan and we had some snow and also quite a bit of freezing rain and sleet. At one point there was three inches of snow on the cover. It eventually melted off and the cover is not sticking to any of the surfaces. Since it attaches at just the ends, it allows for a lot of air circulation. I can see the cover billow on windy days which some people might not like, but I prefer it versus something so tied down no air can get in. Still feels pliable and no rips or tears I can see. Update 11/1/22 I am about to purchase another one of these covers for the same car and thought it might be good to leave a quick update. I could probably get another year out of this cover but decided to just get another one. There is one tear on the top that I patched with some duct tape, but other than that it has held up well. The clip on one end broke last year but it was easy enough to work around that issue. I also added some rope ties in the middle by poking some holes and duct taping them to avoid tearing to help keep the middle area down tight since the cover came off when the clip broke and I had to jury rig it in the middle of the winter. Even though I had these small issues, I am still happy with the purchase since the cover is made from strong material that has protected my car very well through three Michigan winters.

I recently ordered the Kayme 6 Layers Car Cover Waterproof All Weather for my Sedan. The item arrived pretty quick well secured in a nice box with the company name on it with instructions to protect the cover when opening the box. The Cover is of good quality and looked pretty nice. They decorated the Cover with 6 reflective bands ( 2 in the front/ 2 in rear and 1 on each mirror side). What made this Cover distinguished from others, is the zip. It comes with a zip right by the driver door side if one covers his car properly. So there is no need to have to remove the Cover in order to open the driver door. The fitment is outstanding. It fit my car perfectly. It has not rained yet for me to assert that it is waterproof, but touching it can tell the nature of the material so I'm certain that it is indeed waterproof. The reflective bands serve of good purpose especially night time for those who park their car on the street. For the protection against the sun I noticed it effectivness, because when I open my car in the afternoon, I didn't feel that much heat that usually stays in my car during the day due to the sun. This Cover is superior in every way including higher protection from UV , dust /dirt, it is a good cover for the price, but I wish the design would have considered to indicate in writing the Front and Rear of the Cover and also include in the Rear of the Cover a clear space to make the license plate be readable without having to remove the cover. Other than that, so far I like it and recommend it to anyone in the market for a car cover.

Out of the box I thought "this isn't going to work let alone last for any period of time". Well, I was definitely wrong. The first thing I noticed is that it has a felt type lining on the inside, which is great, because my old car cover was just that, a cover. I like the fact that there's a zipper so you can have access to the car without having to take the whole thing off. Since it's a one size fits most in this category, I can't really complain about how it fits. It does cover the car, and the straps help keep the cover in place. However, if you're someone that's looking for perfection, this isn't for you. The side mirror pockets are kind of in the right place for the car I have (2008 Cadillac DTS) but you can tell it's a bit off. That's ok in my book, I'm looking for protection, not perfection. So far it's lasted a few heavy rain storms and the car underneath stayed dry. Half of my tires are exposed, but that's ok, again, not looking for protection here. The big test will be the snow whenever that happens to start, but I'm sure since it's tolerated a lot of rain well, it will be ok. Fingers crossed!

Amazing vehicle cover, good quality, easy to use, it’s been on my truck for about a year and holding up great.

I live in N California, so it's not the worst weather in the US, but this cheap car cover started coming apart after less than 6 months. First of all, saying that it's "6 layers" is a lie. It's 3 layers AT MOST. It kept the occasional rain off, but the sun has already dried it out and it's developing cracks all over the place, so now the only way to make sure it's "weatherproof" is to apply duct tape. Ridiculous. It also leaves dust all over the windows because the "soft cotton" underside is CHEAP. And BTW, this is the third one I bought. The first one didn't fit (too small), despite the stated sizing. The second one was MISSING the female part of the clip on one strap, so I couldn't use the strap! That's pretty sloppy QC, folks. The third one is actually too big and the slightest windy day tears it right off, despite the TWO straps. I was forced to McGyver a third hold down (clamps, duct tape, and a piece of rope) under the middle of the car to keep it from coming off in a mild breeze. I'd say "you get what you pay for" except that this cover wasn't exactly cheap. Just cheaply made. The profit margin must be enormous.

Fits well and relatively easy to install but does NOT hold up in the wind an weather very well. The tie down buckles broke easily and the fabric tore when unattended in the wind. Good for inside garage but not so much for outdoors.

I purchased this for my 2000 Tundra access cab truck. This cover is a tight fit on the bottom which prevents it from billowing up or trying to blow off. My last cover had issues with that even though it fit better on top. This cover is not a snug fit on the top as it is made for a bit longer cab and shorter bed. But being a bit loose on the back of the cab has not been an issue with the good fit on the bottom. The UV's destroyed my last cover, which did not have the reflective aluminum outer layer. Very happy with this cover!

I purchased the car cover in July of 2023 because we have no garage for our two vehicles. We live in the country and off of a gravel/dirt road. The cover was primarily purchased to protect our 2015 Chevrolet Impala from the sun, fall leaves and pine needles and later the snow/ice of winter. To date I have to give the cover an honest rating of five stars The cover has remained flexible during snow and ice accumulation and met and exceeded our expectations of sun and rain protection. My primary concern has been the shark fin antenna tearing through the fabric especially with the snow/ice, no problems of tearing through yet. We don't have expectations of this cover lasting more then 3 years, but if it does I will follow up with written review. The cover fits the car perfectly and with high winds and the straps attached we've had no problems to report of the cover blowing off. I will also provide a review after a year of use. Five Stars so far!

i bought this cover in August 2025 and it lasted only 2 months . the cover breaks up in the rain . The previous version lasted 1 year . this version lasted 2 months. Quality has ben severely compromised. i would not recommend this product.

厚みがありしっかりしている。生地については申し分ない。bmw530i用に購入、長さが30cm以上余るがこれしかなかった。長すぎる部分はさほど気にならないが、フェンダーミラーの位置が微妙にズレること、ボンネットの幅がキツいのが難点と言えば難点。サイドがダブつくので強風で捲れそうになるが、手製の紐でも縫い付けて結ぶようにしようと思う。重いし大きいので心配だったが、慣れれば小柄な女性一人でも扱うことが出来る。他の車用も購入したいと思う。耐久性などについてはまだ評価出来ない。

カーカバーはこれで４枚目になりますが一番よかったです。アルファードで一番大きいサイズを買いましたが後ろは下までスッポリ被せる事はできていませんが満足です。生地は厚くしっかりしています。在庫切れになる前にもう一枚注文しました。
