So let me start off by explaining why I got this product in the first place. For the past 5 or 6 years I have had issues with my scalp. In between washes, my hair would get extremely oily & have a weird smell to it. My family said they didn’t smell it, but I could smell it & it would make me self conscious. After I wash it, it would get extremely itchy. And when I say extremely, I mean, like I wanted to claw my scalp off, itchy. And I have tried everything!! Nothing would work, except for one product that came in a tiny little bottle & was super expensive. Well, I came across this amazing product about a month ago. And it has literally changed my hair, my scalp & my confidence!!! It says on the jar to use it 1-2 times a week. And so far, I have only used it just once (a few weeks ago) & I haven’t had to use it since then. (And yes I’ve washed my hair since then) My scalp has not itched AT ALL!!! It feels so amazing!! It doesn’t smell, it feels so fresh & clean & it has literally put volume & shine back into my once limp, dull hair. When I used it, I scooped out some of the product & put it on my scalp (while my hair is wet) & massaged it in with my fingers until it got really sudsy. Then I used the little spiky silicone, scrub brush that came with it. And to be honest, I was a little worried about the brush at first because it is softer than I thought it would be. I assumed it would be stiffer. But nonetheless, it did the job! I left it in for just a few minutes, wet it & massaged it some more before I rinsed it out really well. It had a very cool, fresh, minty feel to it & it felt SO good! As I was rinsing my hair out, it was literally squeaky, squeaky clean!! Honestly, my hair hasn’t looked or felt this good in years! This product is absolutely amazing & I highly recommend it!! I wish I would’ve taken before & after photos. I may just add ‘after’ photos or a video later. I assume that my scalp issue was probably due to buildup. I really don’t use a lot of product in my hair, but I do dye my roots every 3-6 months. So my guess is that’s what could’ve caused the issue originally. But if you have build up, itchy scalp, or oily scalp. TRY THIS PRODUCT!!!! I’m telling you, it is absolutely amazing!

I have fine hair which is halfway down my back. My roots can get oily quickly. I don't typically have flaky dandruff, but I do get some build up and use a scalp scrubber once or twice a week. I purchased this to try it out as part of a routine heading into the winter months. I didn't have any expectations; just hoped that it would smell nice and not leave my hair oily after treatment. I loved this product! I wet my hair in the shower and used small amounts to scrub gently at my roots with my fingertips (I didn't use the scrubber that it came with). The mixture became pretty dry and was a little hard to spread out, but it also helped to exfoliate my scalp. Then I rewet my hair, and THE SUDS! It immediately foamed up and the scrub disintegrated and I washed it out of my hair. It smelled great - not too strongly of any one thing, which is good because I'm not a big fan of the small of rosemary. I was able to lather my hair up and when I washed it out there was no greasy or oily after feeling. I used my normal conditioner and allowed to air dry. My hair is soft, the roots are not oily, no residue or anything. I would purchase again for sure.

For some reason it wont lather up well unless you shampoo first. THEN you get a luxurious thick lather with bold salt crystals to scrub that itchy scalp with. I love the smell of rosemary, and dust mites hate it. It didn't seem to strip out all my natural oils.

I love this stuff. I get a good lather out of it. The smell is nice and it worked wonders on my itchy scalp that was caused by using the same styling product in my hair all week which my body decided it did not appreciate. I will keep this on hand at all times. My hair is always soft and shiny after using.

I’ve struggled with scalp buildup for years, and even with clarifying shampoos, it always felt like I couldn’t fully get rid of it. There was always something left behind, especially near the roots. But this actually made a noticeable difference. After using it, my scalp felt genuinely clean in a way I’m not used to. Like that “fresh start” feeling without having to over-strip your hair. It exfoliates really well, but the scrub itself is surprisingly gentle. No scratching, no irritation, no feeling like you just attacked your scalp with sandpaper 😅 One thing I was worried about was how hard it would be to rinse out (because let’s be honest, scalp scrubs can be a nightmare), but this rinses out easily and doesn’t leave behind weird residue or grit. What I liked: * Actually removes buildup, not just temporarily “refreshes.” * Gentle on the scalp, no irritation * Doesn’t feel harsh or overly abrasive * Rinses out clean without getting stuck in your hair If you’ve been stuck in the cycle of using clarifying shampoos and still not getting that truly clean feeling, this is definitely worth trying. It gave me the clean scalp I’ve been chasing without the damage or discomfort 👍

Has been very helpful with my itchy scalp. I have a lot of hair and I use so much shampoo to clean my entire scalp. I am able to use the brush to really get onto my scalp and scrub. Love the smell too.

I never write reviews, but this one is worth the effort. I was trying this before I bought my usual product brand’s pricier version to see if I liked the feel and made a difference in my scalp concern. It lathers nicely, got my hair soooo clean-squeaky-like someone else mentioned. I probably won’t use it nearly as often as jar suggests (1-2x/wk) just bc it seemed to be so clarifying that my hair would get dry. I have been having a lot of scalp pain, I don’t wear tight hair styles or do aggressive blow outs, don’t have medical conditions related to it, etc, I had tried everything else to try to relieve the pain and read product buildup can cause it so thought I’d try a more intense scalp treatment than my usual clarifying shampoo. I don’t use an abundance of products generally, use high quality products when I do and double cleanse with high quality shampoo every wash, so I was shocked that this made my scalp pain go almost completely away with one use. Kind of a niche use for me, but this was a realllllly nice product generally and the price point is great. The smell is as you’d expect. The scalp brush was nice, but nothing different than others I’ve used. Def worth a try!

I wanted a cleaner scalp and this product work amazingly. I use it once a week because I read that if you use it more frequently, it could dry out your hair.? I rub it into my scalp and use the tool that came with it to massage my head. I let it sit while I shower then I shampoo and condition. I have no dryness from it. You get a tingly sensation on the scalp but goes away once you’re out of the shower.

Anteriormente había comprado este producto y fue muy bueno. Lo volví a comprar y no sirve, no hace espuma como el anterior y está seco, el frasco es más pequeño , viene con muy poco producto e irrita el cuero cabelludo.
