Well built, doesn't last as long as advertised, though
Considering what others have said about this, the build quality seems to be inconsistent which is very concerning. My cup seems to be working as advertised, however... without being filled to the brim with icecubes a cold drink is NOT lasting 12 hours in this, it will keep it nice and cold until you drink it but if you leave it on a table before bed, it will not be cold by the time you wake up, the same for hot drinks, it'll keep it nice and hot so you can sip it over the course of an hour or two but past that it'll go from 'hot' to 'luke warm'The build quality of mine seems very good, no issues noticed from about 30+ uses thus far (everything from hot, cold and fizzy), my one is completely leakproof for hot and cold non-fizzy drinks, still... I would not trust it inside a bag for example, it's just useful for short-term transport, moving it between rooms if your hands are full etc.I'd give mine a 4/5, its easy to clean, mine seems well built and is leak proof, not quite 5* as it does not keep drinks cold or hot as long as advertised (maybe half, at best) and the apparent variance in quality according to others is concerning.Small tip to people new to these types of drink containers, blow into the drinking mouthpiece to get a feel for how hot your drink is, if the air burns your upper lips it'll likely burn your mouth, too. Will update this review as usual if anything noteworthy happens.

Nice travel cup
I like this travel mug. It's a nice size - fits in my car cup holders no problem. It has a rubber belt around it for comfortable holding. It is insulated and kept coffee warm enough for an hour or two, without the outer cup getting hot. It's easy to drink from and the lid works very well. I put cold water into it, closed it, and turned it upside down and shook it vigorously and there were no leaks. That said, I would never trust a travel mug to act as a proper flask and throw it, full, into a bag. That's just asking for trouble. But kept as a travel mug I see no way it will spill. If you want a vessel to be completely immune to leakage, you need a flask/insulated bottle, not a travel mug.For £8 at time of writing, this is far cheaper than many competitors and I'm happy to recommend it.

It isn't leak proof with hot liquids
[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]I requested the ‘SENBSLAN Travel Mug,510ml Insulated Coffee Cup with Leakproof Lid,Non-Slip Coffee Travel’ White, to keep my tea hot.The cup appears to be of a nice quality with a non-slip base, a simple lid and a grip around the middle. The cup and especially the lid, are easy to clean and that is what I like most about this. It doesn’t have sliders, rubber stoppers, pop ups that can’t be cleaned inside and in a non dishwasher household, this matters. It is leak proof on cold liquids but the problems start when you introduce boiling water. Whichever way I try to make it leak proof, putting the lid on when both the lid and the inside rim of the cup are dry etc, it still generously pours hot liquid out, with the lid on tight and the cap shut. It is supposed to be leak proof? For the price of £7.99, at the time of this review, It is not fit for purpose. 1 star.

Nice looking, but it leaks!
This cup looks appealing and comes well presented in its own box, so, at first sight, it's ideal for gifting. It can hold a good amount of liquid, more than enough for my morning coffee or night cup. I've also been using it with cold water and juice. It's easy to use, easy to clean and easy to carry around in your hand thanks to the anti-slip sleeve. However, I did experience some leaking from the top of the lid. This will be especially a problem if you want to carry it inside your bag. The cup is usable as long as it's staying upright, but I wouldn't want to use it as a travel mug. Also, the hot beverages don't stay hot for that long in this cup compared to other insulated cups in the market. This might be due to the leaking of air, which I could also hear.Overall, in my opinion, this cup is not really fit for its intended purpose, and care needs to be taken to make sure it stays upright to avoid leaking from the top of the lid.

Works well for me
I have several travel mugs like this; literally the only difference between any of them is the name on the box. As I really like them, ordering this to review was a no-brainer.The mug is constructed as expected with a stainless steel bottom and plastic lid with rubber bunged, hinged stopper to close the spout. There were no defects in the metal or plastic, and all the rubber gaskets and seals needed were in place. The silicone sleeve around the middle is well fitted and stops the outside of the mug getting hot. It kept my drink hot for around 3 hours, and just warm enough for another 1.5, which is in keeping with what I’d expect for this style of mug. Unlike other people, I had zero issues with my drink leaking, even when inverted, or on its side in my backpack en route to work. My only complaint with this mug is the same with all the others - you have to turn the lid the wrong way to get it straight in the mouth of the cup before turning it the right way to close it. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to get it on straight rather than cross-threaded, which I can only assume comes from the rubber seal.At the current price of £7.99 at time of writing, it’s still a bargain even if it leaks slightly.
