Green Bell Stainless Steel Luxury Nail Clipper with Metal Catcher

I hesitated spending $17 for a nail clipper even though the New York Times Wirecutter site recommended it as the best nail clipper made. It turns out to be true. This clipper really is far better than any I've previously used and it turns out that even at this price it's good value for the money. The cutters are sharp. The clipper's quality and heft is impressive. The built-in nail file is useful and the catcher contains most, but not all, of the nail clippings. This clipper feels good in your hand and makes clipping fingernails and toenails easier and a more pleasant experience.

I recently bought a slightly larger nail clipper specifically for trimming toenails, and it turned out to be a great choice. The blades are very precise, and when I trim my nails, the cut is so clean that I don’t even need to use a nail file afterward. The overall build quality is also excellent and feels very solid. I especially like the thoughtful design feature that helps prevent nail clippings from scattering—it’s easy to attach and remove, which makes it very convenient to use. Overall, this feels like a well-designed and smart product that I’m really satisfied with.

This may be the best nail clipper I have ever bought. It is so crisp and precise, and has a nice snap when you press the arms. I know you can get nail clippers for 3$, however, BUY THIS INSTEAD.

I thought something was wrong at first because they clipped so smoothly through my very tough nails that there wasn’t even a “click” just a perfectly trimmed piece of nail caught in its reservoir. Worth it!

These are the sharpest clippers I've ever owned. The standard drug store clippers feel like you're crushing your nails in comparison. I bought the small version of these first, but ended up wanting a wider set instead; I like them both, with a slight preference for the larger ones, even though I do not have particularly large fingers. They do take a bit to get used to: the blades are at a sharper angle than the standard drug store clippers (see picture: from top, the larger GreenBell clippers, the smaller set, and a drugstore set of clippers) which makes it a bit more difficult to see exactly what you're cutting. The built-in file is much nicer than the nail file on the drug store clippers, with results comparable to a diamond nail file. The nail catcher does a nice job of stopping nail bits from flying everywhere, and is easy to put on or remove. Most of the time, it's sufficient to just shake the clippers over a waste basket to empty the clipper of its accumulated nail bits.

Nice and sharp clipper. A bit big so best for toenail vs fingernail. You need to take off the part that contains the nail debris if you need to reach/cut the both ends of your nail, however.

You can’t ask for much better. Clips smooth with hardly any pressure even on big toenails. The catcher is a bonus. I think these will definitely outlast me.
