We have a sliding door that has a pet door insert in it, so the normal bar type devices won't work to secure our door. These worked wonderful! Easy to install. I don't think they will ever come off the window! The adhesion is incredibly strong! That's great and makes me feel like it's very secure. But I have no idea how I would remove it if we ever moved, haha. It's really easy to operate as well. I recommend it!
