the tool is great for any type of light modeling work
i was sceptical at first as i read the reviews some quiet alarming i may add, but with being on a budget and couldnt afford the more expensive ones i went ahead and purchased the rotary tool, the first job i used the tool on was my electric guitar, i cleaned all the fret board up and re polished the frets, its done a lovely job , and the added buffing polish is a bonus, so didnt need to buy any, the tool is great for any type of light modeling work, so would be great in any hobbyists arsenal , The tools look very sturdy if used correctly, let the tool do the work and dont force them.will be letting my friends know. for the price for anyone whos staring out in hobbycraft and cant afford the very expensive versions, this is perfect,Plus with all added extras i would recomend this item, As with all tools EYE PROTECTION is a must,,, safety first :) well worth the money in my opinion. have other guitars to do work on so this tool is going to get an extensive workout and will be perfect for the job,

Cheap and well worth it
I ended up buying this instead of a Dremel purely thanks to these reviews - A lot of cheap rotary tools seem to get panned as being cheap and therefore rubbish but i'm very happy with my purchase of this one, given that a Dremel plus all the equivalent Dremel bits would run well into 3 figures. The tool runs well, it does heat up relatively quickly but i've so far had no problems with running it warm/hot (obviously letting it cool for a while when it starts getting *really* scorching) and the range of accessories it includes is very useful. The only downside i've really found so far is the rubber mandrels for the sanding bands are fairly poor quality/difficult to use. This may just be my clumsiness but I basically had to destroy the smaller mandrel trying to replace sanding bands and the larger one is a pain to swap bands as well, I ended up buying some alternatives for a couple of £ and they seem to work a lot better.

A great alternative to a Dremel
Had a small project to complete which required a Dremel like cutter. Wanted to fit an STC-1000 temp controller within a hobbyist box and required a cutter. Looking for something useful and not too expensive to do this and the Xenta was just the job!The Xenta exceeded my expectation, I have only used a few of the fitments so far but can see they are all very useful. The drill itself is powerful enough for most small jobs, anything other than light drilling and I would recommend a cordless hand drill, there is an array of cutting tools and polishing accessories. I did wonder what the pots of the red/brown were but later found out these contain the polishing paste, it would be handy have a manual describing all the accessory fitting and fitments, there is card on the back which kind of helps but no images.Plastic case is not very thick so I could see it breaking accidentally.Very happy with it and would recommend.

10/10 for lasting me 6 years without any serious issues at all
This has been very good value for money. I've put mine through so many different types of jobs from simple DIY projects to hell of a lot harsher projects and it's stood up to the test of time. got mine in 2015 and it's still running to this day good as new. the only thing that has worn away is the little aluminium clip inside of the multi tool that the button press down into to secure when tightening a bit into the tool. other than that, Top marks

great value for money but beware of compatible accessories
Have been using this tool for the last few weeks and it's very impressive for the money. The motor is quite good but it does tend to overheat qutie fast when working on metals, not sure if that happens with dremels as well. In that case, it needs to be turned off for cooling. Two major flaws on this tool is a: the intruction which are poor, however pleanty of information online on the accessories provided and b: it says that all dremel accesories are compatible. That's wrong, it is only the accessories for a 7.9 mm chuck that are compatible. I had to figure it out the hard way as i purchased the dremel Multi Tool Chuck 4486 and the dremel Dremel Collet Nut Kit (480,81,82,83) from amazon themselves. These are only compatible which chucks of 7.1 mm dimensions, it would have been better form from amazon or xenta to include a more detailed description

Great value and powerful.
I was so surprised with the quality of this set. I had previously popped into town to find a cheap rotary tool and even the cheapest was more expensive than what I wanted to pend for my small project. When I saw this I thought It looked great value and it certainly was. I would not be surprised if the ones I had previously seen were just re branded versions of this. I've had it for sometime now and although I'm not a heavy user, I have never had a problem. The kit has all the tools i'll ever need and some more. Perhaps the plastic case is a little fragile as mine has cracked a bit but overall I could not be more pleased with it.

functional but basic
This has lots of accessories, though I didn't get everything that was listed (my pack was missing the heavy duty cutters and had a tub of flux (or something like that) instead which was a bit disappointing but not worth the hassle/cost of returning it, and the seller wasn't willing to send the missing items out.The actual tool itself is ok. It doesn't maintain its speed particularly well, especially when actually cutting, and it can be difficult to tighten the bits in place but as a basic, no frills, rotary tool it is ok. It would be useful having something which explained what the various bits were meant for as it really isn't obvious for many of them.I'm not sure I would buy it again but for the money I can't complain.
