Solid icemaker with versatility for water source and discharge. Would be nice if the hopper was also refrigerated, but this seems to be the standard MO of most ice makers of this type. Particularly nice is that you can plumb the water input from the mains, or you can use a siphon approach from a container placed above the unit. The melt water discharge is gravity fed and can be plumbed, or it can be routed to a nearby drain. The instructions are pretty horrible, but it’s not rocket science. So it’s easy to work out. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Our current refrigerator doesn’t produce enough ice for my family in the hot SoCal summer, so my dad decided to purchase this little ice machine. So far, it works great. As shown in the video, it can produce a lot of ice in no time. the ice is square and can be broken up easily. This will be perfect for future parties and making snow-cones.

Terrible machine, sent first one back because it was so loud and wasn’t producing ice. Received second one and kept getting E2 error code. Reached out to manufacture customer service who was responsive but slow and could not help with the issue. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little more on a better unit!

I’m currently using 5gl bottled water, plan to tap into water supply line before next summer. My initial few runs produced nice size ice. I switched to thickest for comparison. About 11 minutes to freeze regular size, about 18 for thickest. Unit is not a freezer for ice; you’ll want bags to transfer to ice to a freezer.

I am a small new business owner and this ice machine is perfect for what I needed.
