The molds are very difficult to close so I wouldn't recommend this product.
The molds were difficult to close and caused a lot of frustration. The balls themselves held together well and definitely bounced. Would not recommend this product because of the molds.

My kids enjoyed making the balls and would love another kit
This product works and did exactly as advertised. My kids enjoyed making the balls and would love another kit. My only recommendation is that when filing the plastic molds to make sure that you fill completely - almost to where it is over full. Otherwise, the ball will have one side that is a little flat.

Fun to make, fun to bounce
My grandkids and I had a lot of fun making the balls. Unfortunately, the balls came out with a flat side from the top of the mold. But the kids enjoy them, and they bounce great and do glow in the dark.Be aware -- the bounce only lasts so long. I should have sent them home with the grandkids so they could play as soon as the balls dried. In less than 2 weeks, they had hardened and would no longer bounce. The Product details do NOT state this, but it is stated in the instructions once you open the item. So, buyer beware -- temporary fun !!!

Fun to do
I did the activity with my 6 yr old boy and he enjoyed it very much. He wanted to make more bouncy balls. I agreed with the previous reviewer that the mould has to be filled up to the top otherwise one side would be flat. Also, the instructions said that there are enough crystals to make 2 large or 8 small balls and that is not true. There are not enough crystals to make 2 large balls. The package comes with 8 little bags of color crystals and it takes 4 1/2 bags to make a large ball. Therefore, there are only enough crystals to make 1 large and 3 small balls. Overall, this is a fun and quick project to do with my child.

disappointed
Really hard to do and then the balls turn into rocks after a month or two. Ended up tossing them in the trash before someone broke a window with them.

Great activity but bouncy balls don't last!
Easy to use and enjoyable to make. But after a few weeks the balls had dried up and no longer bouncy.

Very Good Fun
These are good, I've bought them more than once. The balls are easy to mould, give a reliable result quickly and the kids absolutely loved making them and the end product, these look lovely when they pop out of the mould. There isn't enough crystals in the pack to make many balls (2), nor to make 1 ball ANY design/colour the recipient might desire from the colours supplied. It's a one-hit wonder toy which will fill a happy hour or two. The resulting ball is stickily attractive until it dries, when it's rubberishly attractive for a while and slightly bouncy, after a few days it'll be utterly hard and no longer suitable for throwing around indoors! In fact these balls may not be suitable for throwing around indoors even when they do still bounce a bit. Jet balls these are not. Delightfully beautiful they are.

Great fun and actually works!
I got these as an extra activity for me and my daughter to do during half term. Well packaged and comes with easy to understand instructions. 2 moulds...when clicking the moulds together the ridgid edges go on the outside. Can be a little messy tipping into the moulds so would advise the parents to do it. Prop it up in cold water for 2 minutes (i left mine for 4 mins and also left to stand for 4 mins instead of 2 once mould is out of water) to get the bouncy balls out of the mould squeeze the mould slightly and should pop straight out. Run under the tap and leave to dry...id advise leaving them at least 12 hours. In all fairness its the "grown ups" that need to do all the diy really but definitely worth it :)

Enjoyable
Great little kit, used by both my 7 and 10 year old's easy enough for them to do on their own and the bouncy balls came out fine and bounced (not as well as some they have brought but the making them was fun!) great fun for a rainy day.
