I have ordered many hair color products from Amazon. I have a severe allergy to ingredients in them, so have tried many. This prodct, the Idus Valley Natural Organic Damage Free hair Color, is the best yet! So happy I tried it. Unless you want your medium brown hair to turn nearly black, do not be fooled by the "medium brown" description on the box. This color has ruined my waistlength hair which I've been washing every single day for over 2 weeks but the nearly black color has barely faded. It completely altered the texture making it extremely difficult to comb through and there's an odd film all over my hair, especially when wet. I HAD naturally wavy and this color has pulled much of the wave out, which was not a desired effect. Also looks to have permanently stained the walls and floor of my bathtub after washing it out the first time. Will NEVER buy again.

A little more dependence on the instructions, but the color is perfect, and my hair feels much healthier. Can get four usages on one purchase as I mix the color individually for each treatment, and my hair is short.

Hi I was a little disappointed reading the majority of the reviews about this hair dye, but I read them a day after ordering so I decided to give it a try and not dismiss it before trying it, finally I received mine yesterday, the color is medium brown, I tried it right away, I have about 50% (very stubborn) gray hair so I had little hope about this product, I followed the instructions to the t I even left on for 50 min instead of 45 min, and the results were excellent : it covered all my grays , my hair is very soft and it didn't it fall during the process like with other hair dyes , my scalp felt great during and after I am ordering more today I am very pleased with the results , and also it brings everything inside and came promptly. Coverage was great but will not sacrifice my hair for it. Color was darker than what I wanted. Hair got brittle and a good amount broke off when used. Sad to see years of growing and repairing my hair gone. Definitely do a strand test before using. Don't think it's as natural as it claims.

We love this hair color. My mom and have been using this brand for almost 7 years now. It can be a bit gritty going on but the coverage is awesome and so much gentler than store bought kits. I also love that it has four applications, giving you the option of all over color or root touch ups

Everything was provided to color hair. Smell was not bad, medium brown color came out nice. After a week, does not appear to have damaged or dried out hair. Box even included shampoo and conditioner to help protect color while conditioning hair

I bought this product for my mother, she has grey roots. And I always wanted her to use any herbal hair dyer. Thankful to Indus Valley, the product is full sized and big quantity. It can be used 4 times if you have hair till your shoulders. Within 30 minutes, you get your desired color. It has no ammonia and no other chemical, they have only used herbal ingredients specially henna and orange. They have many color variety, do try if you are looking for some chemical free products.

Terrible product. Doesn’t cover grey hair, even when left on for an hour. Comes in a untearable pack (you’ll need scissors), which is wrapped in a second untearable pack which is wrapped in a third untearable pack. Preparation requires that you pour a cream which comes in a tube (impossible to see how much is left and impossible to get it all out of the measuring cup) that has to be combined with a powder (which is very volatile and which you probably inhale inadvertently while preparing the mix). Very different from other hair dye products.
