Great item for the price. Kinda wobbly, but I put a hitch stiffener on the hitch and also on the connecting bar going up. Now it is great. I also didn't like the bright blue cushion wrap, so I bought some black pipe insulation. Now it doesn't look so cheesy.

Product is definitely not high quality. Welding splatter not cleaned off and painting right over. Sections not welded straight. Can I still use it sure but it definitely is on the low end of quality. But that unfortunately isn't the biggest issue. They package these so poorly it will be damaged in shipment. I returned the first one because it was bent and had chipped paint. When I received the second it was the exact same thing so I have to straighten the top bracket U part and sand and paint several areas or just purchase a different brand. So if you purchase this unit don't expect it to be high quality, straight and have all its paint still attached.

very happy with this item, the assembly directions, leave much to be desired, but once assembled and installed, with the hitch tightener, works great. well built for the price, so pretty good value.

Don’t even think of buying this product. As far as I can tell, it may be totally functional, if only I could put it together. Actually, I probably can figure it out, but the only instructions they give you is a very minimal diagram. What’s weird is that there are bolts of different sizes, different types of washers, different types of nuts, and they never tell you which goes where. I finally figured it out by counting the different holes and the different nuts and washers and using some basic logic, but it shouldn’t be that difficult. And on top of everything else, there’s a piece that’s not shown in their diagram, not described anywhere, and I haven’t yet figured out where it goes. Maybe I will, but it shouldn’t be this difficult. This is a simple piece of machinery, and once I put it together, I could easily write an installation manual in 10 minutes for them. But they don’t have one, and won’t provide one. There is a brief minute and a half video of one being constructed, even it doesn’t show the piece that I am describing. So unless you enjoy being frustrated and pissed off, don’t even think about buying this unit.

For the most part this is a good rack. We are making some modifications to accommodate transferring our Kayaks safely.

Works but I had to modify it and mount a piece of 3/4 plywood on the mount to reduce size of the square holes so my Kayaks would not drop too far down and scrap the road as they did for me the first time I used them. I added carpet to the plywood to reduce scrapping of the wood.

For the money, you can’t argue with this quality. I would recommend replacing the padding with pipe insulation or pool noodles. Also the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Make sure to use the proper length bolts in the appropriate locations.

Foam protectors are very poor Quality and the support arms are a lot lower then they look .

Works amazing on the back hitch of our Class A motor home.
