This firewood rack is rather petite, it works for what I need, but, if you were imagining something that could accommodate a decent amount of wood then this is not for you. This is more for an indoor fireplace. It does come with a faux leather wrap that you can use to transport wood to and from the rack which may be helpful. The coating and the fasteners are not substantial enough to avoid corrosion if left (outside) in the elements. It is not expensive and looks great, so as long as you have it in-doors or (sheltered) you'll be fine.

I'm giving this rack only 3 stars because I feel that the description was somewhat misleading based on 2 things: "outdoor" and "heavy duty."After receiving the item, we discovered that the wood portion of the rack is actually some kind of pressed wood with a kind of laminate over top of it. It's definitely not something I feel comfortable using as we had planned to do: in our yard next to our brush pile, completely exposed to the elements. I believe you could get away with it being outdoors if you have a place to put it where it wouldn't get wet, like a covered porch or a shed. So I don't believe it qualifies as an outdoor product based on such limitations.I also wouldn't look at this rack and think that it's heavy duty. Again, we were planning on using it to hold small logs that we cut up when going through our brush pile. In those instances we are usually cutting stuff up and throwing the wood around and I'm not so sure that this would hold up to any of that.However, I believe if you're looking for something decorative to place in your house to hold some firewood, this would be perfect. It definitely looks modern and nice. And it's lightweight and easy to put together. I think it would look great sitting next to a (inside) fireplace. Plus, the leather carrier probably adds a nice touch to indoor spaces and is probably very functional.

The pieces had a fairly easy instruction manual to put everything together. It holds up wood logs fairly well without flexing and the plastic feet on the bottom are adjustable to various uneven flooring. The leather carry bag is more of an added bonus to lifting wood, but it does not offer much strength in the carry handles.

This cute firewood rack went together in minutes!! However.... the product seller claims it can be used outdoors.... the bottom board of the stand seems to just be covered pressboard. I really don't think it can, or should be used outdoors, at least left outdoors.
